Hotel New Satkar Deluxe

I have stayed in this hotel twice now. First time was in 2009, it was quite ok then. But now, in January 2014, its quite bad. Lack of maintenance and cleanliness are the key issues here. I had booked a non-Ac room. My bed linen had somebody's footprint and all kinds of stains on it. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and weirdly the commode was wobbly. And for all this, the charge was Rs. 1000!!!!! I am struggling to say anything good about the place, the houseboys were well-mannered, that's the only positive thing I can think of.

Stayed here for close to 2 days during the Christmas vacation as all other hotels were full. It's an old hotel. They haven't done anything to renovate it. There were cracks on the wash basin, water was dripping from the shower, hangers were broken. There was only one plug point working and we had to use it to charge the camera batteries, mobile phones and watch TV in a round robin basis. One positive point is that it is opposite to the bus stand. I had booked a double bedroom online for Rs 800 per day, but as it was not available we were accommodated in a triple bedroom for Rs 1200 per day which is too expensive for this hotel

Good location, very close to the bus stand. On the groundfloor there are basic rooms (600Rs in 2012) with attached bath and television, a little old but quite clean, and on the first floor deluxe rooms. The staff is very nice. I am a traveler. ||I don't travel to stay in hotels. ||I travel to experience different cultures, cuisines, locations, environment, climate etc,meet new meet and try to understand their lifestyle.||||I rent hotels just to take bath and have a good night sleep. This hotel does its purpose.||||The staff was nice, they allowed four of us to stay in a single for Rs.1000.

Washroom was not clean, also bedsheet was so dirty.

Very good budget hotel.. staff was helpful in assisting sight seeing service and bus ticket booking... Room service on request available. Bit old building but maintained well.

It's cost effective and you can get all basic facilities like laundry, hot water, free parking etc

It was not that much good.. bed spreads were all dirty. Bathrooms were not cleaned. Lack of basic Facilities which was needed..
