Hotel Mayura Chalukya Badami

The hotel is well located and close to the Badami Caves. We booked 2 semi deluxe AC rooms. The rooms are very spacious but the AC needs servicing. There is transport available just outside the premises. There are also many monkeys on the tree but they are not aggressive unless provoked. The menu for the restaurant is very limited especially for the Breakfast so we did not have our meal there.

It is the best hotel by Karanataka government for a stay in Badami. Rooms are clean but avoid taking non AC rooms in summers. The ambience is nice, with multiple options like dome, cottages. I found cottages very dreamy surrounded by lush greenery and butterflies flying around. Staying is pleasant with guests all around the world. It has a restaurant which serves clean and tasty food at a reasonable price. The staff is very polite and sincere. It's like 4 kilometres away from Badami station. It is the best place to stay at Reasonable price.

The service is very poor... Only 2 or 3 staff were there to serve at the restaurant. Because of scarcity of needed numbers of causing the in taking orders and delivery of the food.... Cleaning the table is not in dictionary of the staff... Food taste is OK. The concerned responsible person/manager not seen... May be because of govt hotel. Anyway salary is coming attitude.... For the available facilities or place the staff/in charge person or manager can do lot more to develop the place and make it customer friendly place. I think lack of proper private restaurants and hotels nearby making these hotel become monopoly in this area.... In our room only one socket was working. So if you want to charge other items you need to wait for the first one get charged. Please do the needful to improve the service and environment, so that people will get benefits for what they are paying. Thank you

Bad rooms, not maintained properly. Windows are open to the inside, which makes small rooms more congested .the only light in the room, which is a tube, was hanging abnormally. Hot water is not working. Staff are good. Ample parking.

The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. But it's since it's an old building there maybe room leaky rooms. The hot water was not available in the morning but staff provided with hot water buckets still a water geyser in each room would be better. The location is good only 10 mins away from Badami caves.

Stayed here during my Badami exploration and it was such a convenient base! The rooms were clean and had a cozy vibe, perfect to wrap up the day after exploration. The staff's hospitality stood out they were warm, helpful and always had a smile. However, the restaurant service felt like a test of patience, it was super slow! The food was decent but a tad overpriced compared to other options nearby. If you're in a rush or want better value, I'd recommend dining at one of the local eateries instead. Despite that, the hotel's location and comfort make it a great choice for travelers. Would I stay here again? Definitely, but I'd plan my meals elsewhere!

Rooms were spacious,but as per the price more amenities should be provided which is available in private hotels. Due to lack of staff room service is not available and one has to go every time to the restaurant to get food or beverages. Food quality was good,once in the restaurant the staff try to provide the food as fast as possible.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the cave temples and fort. The food was quite good and the service was great. The restrooms were clean. Every part of the hotel that we were in was nice and clean
