Serenity Beach Stay

Very very bad experience. Went here through package, didn't know the place was this bad. Location - away from city. So you need to travel all the time to visit any beach. Beach near by was so untidy. Food - Food was average and the cleanliness was zero. Local dogs near by was eating the leftovers from the same plate. Hygiene - just 3 washrooms for all the ppl. No hot water all the time. One bathroom had just a bucket and no mug. Other has no light. And one more had no working flush. Overall experience was very bad. Only one tent was present and it smelled inside. Even tent was torn out in 2 to 3 places. I recommend not to visit here. Thank you

An ideal beach destination if you are looking for sun, sand and sea.! The resort is by the sea and provides you with a private beach, keeping away the public. The tents are very basic and come with attached bathroom. Tents are clean and decent... Nothing fancy.. It doesn't have TV or WiFi but if you want to be with friends, get those long lost memories back, this is the place to be.. food was good and is a typical coastal karnataka cuisine... Lots of activities available like beach volleyball, badminton, cricket, football..! If you are in a mood to relax, then lie on the hammock and indulge yourself in a good book with a cold beer!||||Special mention about the staff, really warm and accommodating. They will go above and beyond to help you eat what you want to eat, do what you want to do, and have the experience that you want. Wonderful bunch of people who are really sweet and willing to do whatever they can to make you comfortable. || ||This place is best suitable for group of friends who want to enjoy the sea, swaying in the musical melodies of the waves, chit chatting, munching on the food and simply doing nothing else...!! :)

If you are tired of crowded beaches of GOA, Coastline of Karnataka ( known as Karavali) can be a best possible alternative. Leaving few beaches like Gokarna, Mangalore, most of the beaches on Karnataka coastline remains unexplored by the tourists. Bada beach ( close to Gokarna) the one which I have visited , you would hardly see any crowd. If you love beaches and wants to have some privacy and a quality time with family this would be an ideal place for you.||Serenity beach resort where I stayed is worth a visit because of its location. It is literally bang on Bada beach. You are on the beach as you step out of Tent houses. Resort has huge open place where you can play outdoor games with friends and Kids. Beach is very beautiful, clean and water is not very deep.||Staff is very friendly and very co-operative. Resort Chef can prepare you really some testy food. He served us with some awesome costal food during our stay.. ||In terms of price, it is very economical and truly value for money.. They also can arrange boat rides if informed advance. If you are beach lover you are surely going enjoy this place.||Location: From Gokarna it is about 40 Kms by Road!

Beautiful Rajasthani tents pitched in a coconut grove. Ensuite facilities with fresh water hot and cold shower. If you want supreme luxury and are not interested in peace and quiet then please go somewhere else and don't complain loudly and rudely to the wonderful, patient, calm and philosophical host who bends over backwards to make sure your stay is superb in every way. Sorry we drank all your beer! Our children loved it. 8 miles of pristine golden sand with no one on it. What's not to love. See you again. Thanks for everything.

The resort is ambient and silent place to spend vacation. cost effective. If you are planning a classmates reunion, this is best place with all facilities. they also do have solar hot water system. the resort is well maintained and the staff is also courteous. ||||The speciality is that the staff speaks fluent english and is hence the best place for global tourist to enjoy the location.

If you guys are actually looking out for a peaceful stay and close to nature / Beach and want to enjoy cool breeze of the sea and the mesmerizing sounds of the waves- THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!! good food and have to experience the stay in the tent cottages , a total different experience. The beach is just like a private one.. It's all yours to enjoy and relax..the best place to hangout is the dining deck, wat I place to be .. The a great host Mr. Ravi .. And very much pocket friendly.. Will definitely make it back to this place with a bigger crowd post monsoon for sure .. Cheers to serenity Beach resort

Serenity is located in a village called Baad , 10 km from Kumta bus stand . The hotel is on the Bada beach . They have tents right on the beach and 3-4 rooms at a distance of 2 mins from the beach . The eating area is on the beach so you have to walk 2-3 mins towards their kitchen area on the beach. I had booked 2 AC rooms for 3 nights . The food was very tasty , we had crabs , fish fry and chicken dishes. Rooms are very basic. One problem we faced was the AC in one room was not working and unfortunately they cudt fix it . But the people working there are really good and kind . If you want to stay on the beach , and have good food and have great company to enjoy and not looking for very high fi hotel then this place is good. || About Kumta , it is a beautiful place , this bada beach where Serenity is located is awesome , clean , golden sand , just like a private beach , hardly any people on the beach . Kumta has some very interesting places to visit , if you like the outdoors . You can go for a small trek to Yana Rocks . There is Mirjan fort . Then therz Sahasralinga (1000 lingas carved on rocks in river Shalmala)in Sirsi . You can visit some famous temples (Mahaganpati temple) in Gokarna and Om beach , kudle beach . Towards south of Kumta , you can go to Ramtirtha (lord Ram visited this place)in Honavar and Idagunji temple (Ganesh temple) and Murdeshwar beach and Shiva temple. Very much recommended Kumta visit and Serenity also .

One of the best place I have ever been. The name serene couldn't have been more appropriate. Went there with a female friend of mine. And I faced no problem. Was very skeptical to travel alone with her but believe me it was worth it. The proprietor cum host, Ravi was very, very helpful. The place and food was extremely cheap. Would recommend each and everyone to go there once.
