Gorukana Eco Wellness Centre

I recently had an excellent stay at Gorukana Wellness Stay, nestled amidst nature. Waking up to the sounds of peacocks and spotting a few deer and various birds was truly a magical experience. The rooms are well-designed with plenty of ventilation, making the stay comfortable and refreshing. The food is top-notch, with a variety that feels like home-cooked meals. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay, especially the visit to the nearby temple. The evening program by the local tribes was the highlight of our trip, offering a unique cultural experience. I highly recommend Gorukana Wellness Stay for anyone looking for a nice family time away from the distractions of TV. It's a perfect place to reconnect with nature and enjoy quality time with loved ones

Revisiting the place after 11 years brought a wave of nostalgia along with noticeable changes. While much has evolved, the location still holds charm for those seeking a calm and peaceful getaway. The presence of birds, butterflies, and consistently pleasant weather remain some of its enduring highlights. A drive to the BRT Tiger Reserve is highly recommended for nature lovers. The food at Gorukana was simple, homely, and delicious. However, the nature trek experience has shifted significantly. What was once a serene and immersive trail has now become more of an urban path, losing some of its original magic.

Our recent stay at Gorukana was truly wonderful. We were three families, and we all had an incredibly enjoyable and comfortable experience in the cottages. The tree house, with its breathtaking view overlooking the lake, was an unforgettable experience. However, it was a bit challenging for my tall sons, who found the small bed a bit cramped. The atmosphere at Gorukana is magical, especially waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the chill December weather, which added to our overall joy. The food was homely and tasty, making us feel right at home. Jayprakash, the manager, was exceptionally hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. One thing to be aware of is the presence of tiny insects, but this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience. Overall, it was a very lovely trip with family, and we look forward to visiting again!

One of the best accommodations that I have visited. It is very evident that the Management takes extra pain to preserve the pristine environment around the cottages and would like to extend my appreciation for their efforts. The cottages are designed aesthetically and look very pleasing. Each cottage is located in such a way that there is no disturbance from the adjacent cottages. We slept peacefully through out the night. We are light sleepers and always have difficulty in other accommodations due to the noisy families :), but here in Gorukana, we experienced tranquility. Staff at the accommodation are very kind. Hospitality and food were excellent, Thanks to the Management and staff.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Gorukana, Cosy rooms, Peaceful environment and lovely weather. It was a good getaway from the city, Felt refreshed and got the de stress I needed. Food was decent just wished there were more options but overall It was satisfactory. Came here with family members so it made the experience enjoyable and fun. Would definitely recommend this place to others but consider coming with family members so your experience is enjoyable.

Wonderful place amidst nature. Best for 1-2 days gate away from the hustle of the city life. Rooms are great with a unique architecture. Buffet food options are nice as well. This resort is 4km from the br hills point and temple. This place is run by the local soliga community and the profits are invested back for uplifting the community which was nice to know. The cultural event in the evening was great as well. Will definitely recommend.

It was a beautiful mini vacation for us. It is right in the midst of nature and be prepared to be among some tiny insects around you. It's okay. We are in their space. They don't harm us. The food served was delicious and hearty. You'll find the clever use of local ingredients to make special dishes. The trek to the BR temple is beautiful and very nice even for amateurs. Be prepared with comfortable clothes and shoes. We didn't do much so was nice to just laze around in the quietness of the place. The hospitality is warm and people are friendly. I went with my husband and ten year old. They had a great time.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had at your resort last week. Unfortunately, it fell far below expectations, particularly for a place positioned as a wellness retreat. There was no extra blanket available despite the cold weather. When I requested one, the manager informed me they were unprepared and running at full capacity. This made it extremely difficult to sleep or stay comfortably in the room, especially with gaps in the balcony doors letting in cold air. I had a stomach upset during my stay and requested a tablet, but the staff neither assisted me nor followed up afterward. It was concerning to see that there was no first aid kit available, especially in such a remote location where immediate medical help isn't accessible. The staff appeared untrained and indifferent to guest needs. The attitude and lack of support were disappointing and unsettling, especially for a wellness-focused center. The resort insists on full payment in advance and is unwilling to accommodate date changes, even for medical emergencies, while also charging additional fees for postponement. The overall experience made me feel unsafe and neglected. Unfortunately, what should have been a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat turned into an uncomfortable ordeal. It feels as though the focus is solely on profit rather than guest satisfaction or well-being. I strongly urge your team to revisit your policies, train staff better, and ensure that guest safety and comfort are prioritized. A wellness center should embody care and hospitality, not the opposite. It was HELLNESS centre.......
