Green Castle

We stayed at Green Castle for a night and had such a lovely experience. The room was super comfortable, and cozy--just right for a peaceful getaway. Shashank was really friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. The whole place had a warm, welcoming vibe, and the estate around it was beautiful. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to unwind in nature with great hospitality. Our only regret was that we didn't book the stay for a few more days. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

We had a wonderful time at Green Castle! The place is peaceful and surrounded by nature - perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The home-cooked breakfast was really delicious. A special highlight was the tour through the coffee plantation, guided by the owner's son, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you're looking to chill, recharge, and enjoy a natural setting!

We had a wonderful experience during my recent visit to Coorg ( Green Castle) .Rooms were not only clean and well-maintained but also spacious and very comfortable--making it a perfect retreat in nature.A special mention goes to the breakfast, which truly stood out with its delicious spread of authentic local cuisine. It was a delightful way to start each day! And of course, I can't forget the joy of meeting your two adorable pets, Gapu and Brandy :)

Rooms were clean and nice. The property is the middle of a coffe plantation. The common sitout area was our favourite. Host was very helpful, gave recommendations for nearby restaurants and responded quickly. Will definitely like to visit again!

We spent four nights here and got exactly what we were hoping for - peace, rest and relaxation, oh and great coffee! Our room was huge, as was the comfortable bed. The communal terrace to the rear and balcony to the front were great just to sit and watch the birds go by. Shashank was a superb host and, though unfortunately away for most of our stay, made sure we had everything we needed promptly. Dinners are delivered from restaurants in town but the star of the show are the breakfasts cooked in-house by Shashank's mum. Delicious!

We stayed 2 nights at Green Castle. Most amazing experience! Nestled amongst coffee, pepper, arecnut etc, the view was fabulous, especially from the common sitout. Lush greenery. Very quiet and peaceful. We saw coffee beans being plucked while eating breakfast. Coffee beans being dried at various places in the estate. Plenty of place to walk around the huge plantation. The room was very tastefully done up and clean. Bathroom, spic and span. The breakfast was fabulous home food. The host Shashank is very pleasant, friendly and was always available to help in a jiffy for any requirement. Truly commendable! His mother was very attentive and helpful too. Location is easy to access, not too far from Gonikoppa town. I will definitely go back to Green Castle again for their beautiful property and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Personally, I loved staying at the Green Castle. It's a beautiful property located in the middle of coffee plantations. The view from the common area is stunning! Hospitality was warm, and it felt like home away from home, which I quite liked. Clean room and bathroom, although the switchboards could have used with some dusting. There's only breakfast that's available at the property which is quite tasty, and it's staple to Coorg cuisine. Although, I would have preferred a couple more options and perhaps some fruits as well, and I think the breakfast option can definitely be improved. All in all, I believe it's a wonderful place to stay at, and I'd certainly choose this option another time without a doubt.

Had a great stay at Green Castle. The rooms are well equipped and well maintained, with clean linen. The area is away from the hustle bustle, and quite peaceful. Would recommend having the coffee, its quite splendid. Shashank is an excellent host, and is always available for any help.
