Sithara Homestay

Sithara Homestay was a lovely and peaceful place to stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the home-cooked food was delicious. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Coorg.

This was our first experience of a Coorg home stay and we could not have asked for a better initiation! It was the real deal as far as a home away from home was concerned, with added extras such as, a tranquil coffee plantation setting and tasty meals cooked for us on site. The host Mr Uthaiah with his able assistant Ashoka took care of our every ask. Rooms were comfy and spacious, surrounded by a wide glass framed balcony overlooking the coffee estate and the distant Virajpet skyline. Will definitely return

it was a great experience staying at Sithara. Located close to nature, very beautiful and the surroundings are a real treat to the eyes. The place is very well maintained and the staff is friendly and efficient. upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Pattu. Staff is extremely friendly and the food is fresh and like home cooked food. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience totally I highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Pattu for your hospitality...

Sithara is a wonderful Homestay run by a very friendly gentleman Mr. Uthaiah (Pattu). We stayed here for 2 days. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. The food is very good. The caretaker Ashoka serves with a smile and makes the guests feel at home. The best part of the stay was the wonderful conversations we had with the host. A perfect place for people visiting Virajpet or Coorg Golf Links Bittangala.

Delighted with the service provided by Sithara home stay, if anyone is planning to visit Coorg I must say this is the place you should stay, very calm and greenery with lots of natural resources. Also we also like the way Ashok serves us The owner of the property (Mr. Uthaiah) is such a gentleman,friendly and polite guy that you are going to love the place.

We visited Sithara with parents and kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very cosy and clean. We totally enjoyed the Coorg style breakfast. Very tasty!!! Mr Uthaiah is a very friendly host and we had nice long chats with him. My kids also enjoyed playing with the dogs . I would highly recommend this property.

Mr Pattu was a very nice and warm host. Since wh have somthing in common to talk about ; golf and Kuala Lumpur, there was no ice to break during a dinner. The food is a fantastic home cook. We stayed at Sithara for 6 blissful nights, surrounded by lush green and the peaceful sound of birdsong. ||It was lovely to have the time and space to take in and enjoy the views from the roof terrace, and to be woken by the woodpeckers in the mornings. ||We were so well cared for by Pattu, Ashoka and Shashi that we didn't really want to leave! We thoroughly enjoyed our first taste of South Indian food, and looked forward to sitting down to breakfast every day.||I would highly recommend Sithara to anyone looking for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of India.
