We stayed here for a night and covered Aihole after staying a couple of nights in Badami. Its an old stone walled building with Courtyard which has an old world charm to it. Really liked the ambience and the fact that its disconnected from the hustle bustle of city life. Breakfast and dinner was included in the package we booked. It was veg, food was tasty but the options can be improved. Service was good and the staff helpful. Rooms were neat and clean and very tastefully done. The whole property is maintained well. Would definitely recommend.

This was our favourite hotel on our trip because it was an old, thick walled stone building around two courtyards. The furniture was traditional and the facilities comfortable and modern. Food - there were no menus and the food was indifferent. when we settled our final bill the manager insisted on cash for drinks and snacks and they were, by local standards, very expensive.

We were looking forward to our four nights staying here as we had had nearly a week of moving on each day. But it was not as good as we were hoping for. The room was reasonably comfortable but we had to repeatedly ask for loo paper in the bathroom. I wanted some laundry done but had to ask four different people before anyone would listen, and two of the four people just walked away from me while I was talking.||Meal times were very rigid, 8 o'clock for breakfast and supper unless they were running late which happened a couple of times. The kitchens and restaurant were adjacent and open plan, and there was a constant cooking fug hanging in the air, so much so on one occasion that we left as soon as possible as my eyes were watering. And our clothes smelt of cooking.||The buildings were interesting, lots of old stone constructions, and the surrounding locale was stepped in masses of history although the immediate surrounds were very dirty and uninviting.||We stayed in lots of places over our 6 weeks in India and while this was not the best, it certainly was not the worst.

Lovely hotel with beautiful architecture and a thoughtfully designed aesthetic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room's ambience was delightful, and the food was delicious with a decent selection of options.

A reconstructed fortified headman's manor, this is in the midst of a very traditional (and safe) village, including smaller 9-12th c. temples. Larger temples, including a cave temple and even an archaeological museum, are just a walk up the road. It is very quiet at night. The food us good, and you can order lunch. This is not one of those places that offers Ayarvedic messages or has a pool, and WiFi is available only in one of the court yards (and can be sketchy some parts of the day), but I liked the place and would go back.

Food was very expensive, it is a small village outside the hotel small hut and cows were there, village came for asking money and chocolates. All the service was taking too long time. they don't have proper skilled man power to handle the hotel. I felt it was too pricy for hotel in that locality. Wifi was not available in the room.

We stayed here for two nights and it was a different experience, a most enjoyable one. The hotel is right in the middle of a very important 5th to 6 century Chalukya Temple site. |We were welcomed by the manager Mr. Ganesh Who was very accommodating for our whole stay.|The hotel has a lovely fragrant garden with several secluded courtyards and beautiful frangipanis and bougainvilleas in flower. This made for a secure and quiet stay.|The room was clean, in fact spotless, Spacious and everything worked. The hot water system is a geezer and needs to be turned on 10 minutes before you need a shower. Good air-conditioning and an overhead fan. Comfortable bed.|Mr. Ganesh offered us a choice of an evening meal and we chose the Thali and that was fine, and the chapatis were excellent. Breakfast was fresh fruits, juice, eggs cooked to order or a choice of Indian breakfast and toast. We could not eat it all just too much|In the evening, you are able to walk up onto the roof and watch the sunset over the temples or see the golden light on the opposite temples|Nothing was a problem for the staff all the management and we had an enjoyable stay in a different boutique hotel.

*We enjoyed our stay at Wada-1. Its a decent property with creative architectural inputs, good hospitality and service. The management and staff were very friendly , efficient and looked after our comfortable stay. The food quality is good however can be better. *Suggestions for improvement: / additions to improve the tourists satisfaction : A better approach road upto the main entrance is required. In the rooms, 24 hrs hot water (maybe with a solar heating system) and TV . Recreation room on the premises. Facility for the drivers : to stay and a food would help, as there is nothing else nearby.
