Kallumetlu Resorts

Fortunately I got the last minute booking at an affordable price. Rooms are very big mainly meant for group of 8 to 10 people, location is very nice, next to the mountains..special thanks to the cook who prepared very good food..service was also very good, they assign one individual for one cottage.. Staff makes sure that they call us for lunch, breakfast and dinner. Also they took us for a small trek which will be accompanied by all the three pets, and mentioned that Jeep ride is only during mansoons. Now the only con was, the star attractions of this resort are very friendly pet dogs( german shepherd, Husky and another good Indian bread) if we have costly breeds then they have to be properly groomed, I think they were having ticks and most of the time used to scratch their bodies which I felt bad and also these are let to sleep in the dining area which is not a good sign as they tend to shed lot of hair and chances are dog hair might get into our food..

Recently Spent 3 days here. Place is very beautiful amidst nature. Food just felt like home cooked with lots of variety all 3 meals and hi tea with yummy bhajis . was very happy with the hospitality and good room service. The nature trekking was worth all the effort for a breathtaking sunrise view at the top of the mountain . Also enjoyed the zip line,campfire and other activities at the resort Highly recommend for nature lovers

Fantastic place to stay in! The rooms are very neat and can accommodate a lot of people! Mr Keerthan was our incharge person and his hospitality was one of the best. The resort itself is very peaceful and cozy. There is a swimming pool , Mud volley ball , carrom , rope activities and a couple of trek activities ( should inform prior). The number of activities can be increased. Coming to the food , You get the most delicious home made cuisine and your tongue for sure is gonna have a very great time! Every single dish is a 10/10! The only downside is the access , a stretch of about 2km to the resort is completely mud and stones , smaller cars may have a tough time maneuvering through to the resort. Other than that everything is excellent and would recommend staying here if you are a nature lover!

We had a wonderful stay at Kallumetlu Resort in Sakleshpur! The service was exceptional--special thanks to Girish and his team who made sure everything was taken care of and even guided us on a lovely short trek. The food was simple, delicious, and felt just like home. The resort is beautifully located amidst the forest, offering a peaceful escape from the city. The last stretch includes a bit of off-roading, which adds to the adventure. We were especially happy with how pet-friendly the place is--our dog Pepsi was very comfortable and enjoyed the company of their three friendly resident dogs. Just make sure to inform them in advance if you're bringing pets.

Please is decent, but not much engaging activities, The staff is good and helpful. Food is normal do not keep much expectations, one thing we didn't like is for dinner people smoking in the cafeteria having drinks which are very uncomfortable for us to have dinner. Due to the smoke smell we have to left in between from dinner.

Rooms are very average. You will find snails and slugs lurking around. We also saw massive spiders in the room. But nothing harmed us. The guys tried really hard to give us great service. The food was below average. But the location is simply fabulous. It's a great place, if you are ready for compromises.

For location I would give minus.. if you love your vehicle please do not consider any resort on these route.. unless they provide a jeep. Which this resort dint. If you enter the resort you cannot go out as vehicle cannot go on these route. Food was very oily was not that great for the price. Rooms were okay. Activities were not that much and rain dance did not work guessing it will never work cuz it was not checked before guest arrives. But only checked after we asked for it and did not work..
