Hotel Shantinivas

A decent hotel to stay for a few days with friends and family. The only complaint i would mention is that the switches inside the big 4 bed room was all jumbled up. 2 fans turned on from the same switch, this was such a problem for us while staying in that room.

Clean and beautiful hotel and very courteous staff! All employees were very accommodating and helpful for all matters. Breakfast was wonderful and had a very diverse selection, and at dinner was also great. The hotel is great for Maithan Dam travels, and very comfortable to stay at. Highly recommend!

We stayed there for 2 nights. With almost 4.5 k per room rent for 4 persons they don't give complimentary mineral water. Rooms are small, shaggy, smelly & unhygienic. There is no proper maintenance of rooms. There food from in-house resturant is pathetic - for 185 rupees alu posto they served us poorly boiled potatos. Some of the food bloggers gave them a big star rating but in reality it's just a poorly maintained 2 star hotel .

Only plus point is the location.. too much expensive.. they charged 2200 for a non ac room.. room is small but clean. gyser was not weorking properly.. in this price range you can book wbtdcl muktodhara. Which is far better.

Had this pleasure opportunity to visit Hotel Shantinivas. The locality ; ammenities and the rooms were upto the mark, spacious and organised. recommennded for the people planning stays at Maithon.

We have stayed at hotel Shantinivas Maithon this January 2024 and had a decent experience. They share same location with Youth hostel. LOCATION is also good just near to West Bengal side boating point. Ample parking is available.Rooms are nice but have lot of staircases here and there within the hotel. Property is decently maintained. Staffs show good behavior. Food quality at the restaurant is also decent/good but service is bit slow. I would recommend this Property but senior citizen with leg/knee problem might face some difficulties.

Staffs are well behaved .room service is very satisfactory.food is tasty and healthy.room and washroom are well maintained.The room is attached a small but beautiful balcony..it's a nice experience to spend a day in santinivas Maithan..
