OYO Hotel Castle

Best mid budget hotel in jamshedpur. 4 km from Tatanagar railway station & near to the bus stand also. The have banquet facility also. Room is cozy & well decorated. Reception lady was very decent , prompt attentive & helpful always with a smiley face. Food was tasty & upto the mark. Service also very helpful. Well decorated room , very good for corporate client. Mini fridge also in the room. TV with all necessary channel, ac is very effective. Dinning table with u shape sofa also provided in the room. One almary , chair two bed side tea table with intercom also in the room. Bathroom was neat & clean with few amenities. Toilet roll provided. They have one in-house bar & restaurant. Room service available 24x7. Food menu provided in the room. Bell boy was very attentive with our luggage. The cleanliness of the rooms also good.

Not worth the price. The rooms and Washrooms need renovation. There is no Lift and the Stairs are very steep. Finding Parking space, even Late at night is a problem.

As per tariff there is no alternate option in this location. Room, food and Bar tariff are pocket friendly. Value for money compare to the nearby hotels.

The overall experience was very very bad. This place has all the problems that one can experience, foul smell ( coming in left side rooms due to duct), slow service ( have to wait 30 mins ), no cleaning, staffs quarelling with guest in high voice ( saw that 2 days in row), even high noise from staffs. Th only good thing is Mr. Roy who is decent enough person to reduce the charges and made it less miserable.

the location of the hotel is very calm and peaceful, easy to find out food quality is outstanding but, they take too much time to serve, the hotel staff was unable to manage the visitors if the situation is very crowdy, so u have to wait.

Hotel Castle is located in a quiet little alley near Hotel Sonnet. The Rooms look old, but are well-maintained and the bathrooms are clean. The reception staff & attendants are courteous and helpful. Last time for dinner, I had tried Bengali style khichdi accompanied by brinjal & cauliflower fries & happy to say, the fare was delicious. Check-in & check-out services are quick. Lift is absent, so a good workout has to be done while reaching the upper rooms. Earlier, there was no wi-fi service but now I hear they are offering complimentary wi-fi, which needs to be confirmed. The Room Rates are really economical as compared to other Hotels and in addition, the hotel offers a 24 hr checkout facility. I am shortly revisiting this hotel for a business trip & will try to review the newly opened restaurant on the ground floor. OVERALL, A NICE LITTLE COSY NO-FRILLS HOTEL...

Really bad service - stayed at this hotel a couple times, the bed sheets and quilts were so dirty , i had to use my own. the washroom was stinking of urin the second time and when I complained, i was told to go and stay somewhere else instead. the celing fan in my room was non regulated, I can either turn it off all the way or feel like there is a hurricane in my room. the only good thing was that there was a geyser and hot water was available at all times, some of the staff was nice. I do not recommend this place at all.

Frankly, I visited this place in 2006 and mann... I STILL compare their service to others.||It was my first trip ever to Jamshedpur and this was the best budget hotel I could get. ||The staff was so amazing. I never had to remind them even once to clean the room. In fact these guys would come and change everything in the morning... right from the towel to the tooth brush! The newspaper would reach on time, the food was good, and the sleep... super.||||I still have to find a place as wonderful as this.
