I used villa twice for staying with my outstation friends and relatives who came to join my son and daughter's wedding.|| It is an awesome place for having all together in a perfect homelike atmosphere and enjoy rituals, Puja and functions.||It has well decorated and spacious two living areas|| that we used to perform pre-wedding rituals accommodating 40-50 guests. ||The roof top has ample spaces for cooking and catering for those many guests.||Some of the rooms are huge with enormous bath while others are also spacious enough to stay comfortably. All rooms are well decorated with clean, comfortable beds and properly functioning hot water and a/c.||The servicing staff in villa were not so much professional like hotels but were very warm and caring. We were very pleased with their helpful service. The owner Sourav , the manager Mr. Sharma and other staff were very nice and courteous . We liked their eagerness to make sure that the guests remained happy. ||||I would recommend Villa for a nice comfortable and hassle free stay. ||No doubt it is a clean, safe and secured place to stay. It is also an excellent place for family gatherings and small functions.
We found mouse in the house which was the last nail on the coffin of our experience. Did not get the rooms we booked for. Some rooms are very small. The staff is not at all efficient. They have made a categorization of guests in their mind and pay attention accordingly. If you book via MMT, you will not be treated well. Breakfast was denied initially though we had a breakfast plan. Any request at room such as water, food etc. will be delivered hours later. Heavily understaffed. Not worthy at all. It is better to pay another 1000rs and stay in a proper hotel.
Hospitality is the hallmark of this Steel City, perhaps an extension of the culture that is espoused by the Steel company whose influence on the life of this city is as towering as Goliath! |The Villa has taken roots in a narrow by lane off the main road. Auto drivers, we discovered, were unaware that a hotel of that name existed in Sakchi area. We had to tell them the name of a hospital , which shares it's location with The Villa, before we could be driven to the place. |The place had been fully occupied by a relative of ours for a wedding and we were guests who were supposed to spend a night at The Villa. We were therefore, not strictly regular guests and hence my review to that extent, is limited in its content. |The reason for my deciding to write this review was specifically to highlight the courtesy and the efficiency of all the staff at The Villa. Smile is like a bosom pal of each and every employee of this place and any requeat for anything is always met with a smile coupled with an assurance of prompt action that would be taken to fulfill the request. Since the whole hotel was booked by the wedding group, it would have been quite convenient for the cleaning staff to have ignored shreds and pieces of garbage lying around. The fact that we did not find any garbage in any nook and corner of the hotel is a testimony to the efficiency of the cleaning staff. |Located in Sakchi, one needs a bit of craning of the neck to initially locate this place; tucked as it is into a deadend bylane branching out from the main road. Like a flag, the name tag stands out perpendicular to the building. From what I could gather, most rooms are two bedroom flatlets that is meant to cater to a larger family who wouldn't like to take two single rooms in a hotel for fear of having to sleep seperately. The only minor disadvantage in my opinion, is that each room has just one bathroom. I liked the bedroom, specially because of the wooden flooring that gave it a bit of a classy feel and look. |The food that we savoured during our stay was excellent but I will not be able to vouch for the fact as to whether the chefs had prepared the food, as I am unaware of the contract that our hosts had with the hotel in this regard. Nevertheless there's one image that will remain uppermost in my mind for a very long time whenever I would be reminded of The Villa. It's the bicycle, complete with a handlebar basket and neon lights fitted on the spokes of its wheel, which adorns the wall of the space that serves as the dining space in The Villa!
We are currently staying in this place.|Below was the situation once we entered.|1. No towels/ water as per the room occupancy.|2. No soaps/ shampoo in the bathroom.|3. The charges for the lunch and dinner not as per the industry standards.serious thought need to be put into it.|4. Breakfast has no milk .say for the kids atleast.|5. The sanitization tag on the toilets not there. These are now basic hygienic standards.|There are many more.|Once we had a talk on the above issues..the answer we got that - 'you did not ask'|These are basic things in this age.|Now the things are being sought out.||But lot of time wasted in the enlightenment of the person sitting at the reception.|Request the owners / Oyo to look into the situation.
Where to begin! There was no Oyo Board, which made it very difficult to spot when going there for the first time. The Room, I was checked into, was horrible. There was no ventilation, you'll feel suffocated if you don't move out into the open every 4 hours. The lighting was improper too. Bed sheet & blankets were very dirty. The side drawers hadn't been cleaned in ages; forget the wrappers of medicine, they even had nails inside. Someone had cut their nails, put them there & it stayed there: Newton was once again proved right-INERTIA. Even though the food was highly overpriced, it could even compete with the local dhaba. Overall a very bad experience for me.
The Villa is actually a homestay located in rajendra nagar area of Jamshedpur. Its well located. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is also good.Special mention goes to Mr Sourav Agarwal. He was quite helpful and friendly. Our 2 nights stay was good . The credit for it goes to Mr Agarwal. We would like to visit again soon .
Worst service. Make a order atleast 3 to 4 times then it will appear. Very bad smell from bed and pillows. AC not working properly. Mosquitoes will provide a great jungle atmosphere inside the room. A horrible night stay of us tonight.
