Safari Hotel

I spent my honeymoon at this hotel about 30years ago. It was a home like feeling. I went there in the month of December end so mosquitos were less. After my first visit I visited this place 3 Times more. I request the managements of all the hotels,lodges home stays in india that please add mosquito net with every bed as humankind lost the war with mosquitos Even very posh hotels in in New Delhi,Mumbai Bangalore, Chennai bangaluru pune all have same menace. Mosquitos win the war with human race

i homed there a long time ago. hotel safari was near rail station... the hotel crews and other facilities were very good. we were 5 people family. the room quality was good enough. the bathroom was regularly cleaned and washed thoroughly...........

Not recommended...Though staff are helpful but can't ignore the untidy rooms and premises they charge rs 600 for general rooms and 800 for balcony rooms ...only 2 of the balcony rooms got views of hills and well maintained...Others are garbage..The management doesn't care about the maintenance... And mosquito s are huge problem...They get in even through closed windows, and immune of Mortin

The worst place manned with reluctant management. Mosquitoes are penetrating every now and then, spoiling your rest and at nights are fearful. Couldn't even get a full hours sleep for two consecutive nights.

Its a nice place for staying at ghatsila. They have dining hall but no food is available. U can buy ready food nearby. Lovely view of hillls available from its balcony. Nearly with in walking distance u can visit Bibhuti Bhushan House. Rate per room is Rs. 700 to Rs 800 during Durga puja. Well maintined, clean. Parking available.

Most of the hotels of Ghatshila are not quite up to the mark, therefore "Hotel Safari" is no exception, poorly maintained, the fans revolve slowly due to low voltage supply, stinking toilets having no flash facility & poorly ventilated filthy rooms with mosquitoes and flies would give you a hellish experience....Rankini Devi Temple & Galudi Lake are places of interest but I recommend nobody to stay...here due to poor facilities...however Jamshedpur is a better place with good hotels, hencforth one can stay there and then come to Ghatshila for going to places of interests.

When we entered the hotel it was like a haunted house. No idea on rooms and other amenities because we didn't took a room later.

Perfect place with homely atmosphere. Very near to Ghatshila Rail Station, walking distance to Subarnarekha river and house of great writer Sri. Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay.
