GULMOHAR RESORT

Recently we visited this place. It is not very far away from Ghatsila railway station, but still a very quiet peaceful ambience within lots of greenery around. The cottages are beautifully colured and very nicely maintained, having all required amenities. The rooms are cleaned and all the staff are helpful & cooperative. The cottage washroom is very spacious and nicely maintained. The entire resort is nicely decorated. The food is good and the ingredients are fresh. The owner was present during our stay, he is a young and energetic gentle person. Having lots of plans to upgrade his resort to make it more comfortable for future borders. We really enjoyed our stay, and recommend others to enjoy it also.

We visited recently at this resort. I am suggesting that you must go at this resort. Awesome ambience. Specially night view is amazing in this resort. Get the flavour of Dooars.

Honestly speaking the appearance of the Resort is nice but it is over priced mostly the food part. One plate of rice and a small bowl of pulse(daal) and small bowl of aloo bhujia, they will take 180Rs. Even the quality and the taste is also not good. When they are taking 60 rs for a plate of boiled Rice and nothing else and when you ask for Extra rice they will keep on adding 60 Rs like that. Huge scam. No wonder people go there once in their lifetime in these sorts of Resorts and they will never suggest to anyone about this horrible Service which we got. And one more important thing the complimentary breakfast is also limited. For example they will only make 5 puri for each people. Even if you're hungry you can't do anything. How amazing!

We stayed at GULMOHAR RESORT, Ghatshila, for two days on the 25th and 26th of December 2024. The resort is excellent, with ample space inside, including a beautiful garden, car parking, and stunning cottages. Their hospitality was outstanding, particularly Mr. Anand Bhai, the Manager, who assisted us greatly with sightseeing in Ghatshila and Jamshedpur. The other staff members were also very helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable.

A friend referred this place for a peaceful stay. This place is quite close to ghatsila railway station. We went with lot of speculations since it's a new place however we were pleasantly surprised with spacious, hygienic rooms. There's ample space for parking. Food was homely and delicious. There are also a couple of view points around, the staff can you guide you through. Overall a good experience. I plan to go back for staycation next month. Highly recommend this place for peaceful getaway from the city.

Never ever faced such a horrible experience.. First of all No value of words by the owner what he promised to provide us before booking event can't provide it, secondly management stuffs are useless (25th December, 2024 - 6 of us booked a room, over price food + very bad in taste ) third & most important (26th December, 2026 after checkout two of us found that 1220 rupes missing from their bag , later we recognized that in the evening when we went out for eat for atleast 2.5 hours , some one from the stuff entered our room with a duplicate key, stolen that money as there was no cctv( all though we are not 100% sure about it but atleast owner should know about this issue ).. Damn it was too stressful
