OYO 28449 Hotel Grand King

Better than expected in Udhampur. Clean and spacious rooms. Great TV and Channels. Food is ok and Service is good. Had some water issues but mostly were resolved. No elevator that I could find. Easily accessible and in central location.

Below avg hotel, hotel manager is very rude and think himself as supreme authority in hotel industry. Had to pay Rs 1800 for one room however this is not even a single star hotel. There is no lift and there was water seepage in room wifi was also not connecting. The only good things about this hotel was the room staff, they were courteous and quick. Perhaps hotel manager should learn from them

1.Staff is very poor and pathetic specially the manager (that Kashmiri guy) who is just arrogant and disrespectful and doesn't oblige customers and argue with customers. 2. Related to orders that is also bad. Your orders will reach you almost more than an hour just becoz this hotel and Restaurant has insufficient waiters. Only 3-4 waiters for whole hotel and restaurant. Ignore this hotel that will be better and there is lot more better and better hotels and restaurants in Udhampur city. Staff is very arrogant.

Best hotel in the town. Manager is very good person, but room boys are not. They behaves like you have came from some other planet. Free wifi is just okay.

Worst Hotel rooms were stinky. They charged 1600 per night but rooms were like 700-800 railway station lodges. Food quality compromised. Hygiene not maintained.

Good rooms staff cooperative. I was stuck along with family in a landslide just before udhampur . They opened up at 2 am in thunder and rain to get us two rooms . Staff arranged meals and resturant is awesome food quality great.

If you are with family, please avoid this hotel. Everyone is just disrespectful and you will feel unsafe. The toilets in our rooms were dirty, they refused to clean instead they will give key of other rooms to use as bathroom. Unfriendly and pathetic.
