Disappointing Experience at The Gulmarg Getaway Resort Unfortunately, my experience at The Gulmarg Getaway Resort was quite disappointing and did not meet the expectations I had when booking. Although the resort is located in the beautiful area of Gulmarg, the location of the property itself was not convenient or scenic compared to other nearby options. The room service was slow and unprofessional, and the overall cleanliness of the rooms and common areas left a lot to be desired. The rooms felt poorly maintained, and basic amenities were either missing or not functioning properly. One of the biggest letdowns was the quality of the food. The meals lacked flavor, variety, and freshness. In a place known for its rich culture and warm hospitality, the food experience here was far below expectations. I had hoped for a relaxing and comfortable stay surrounded by the beauty of Kashmir, but sadly, this resort fell short in many areas. The staff seemed untrained and not attentive to guests' needs. Unless significant improvements are made in terms of service, food, cleanliness, and overall management, I would not recommend The Gulmarg Getaway Resort to other travelers. There are definitely better options available in Gulmarg for the same or even lower price.

We had a wonderful stay at Gulmarg Hotel! The staff was incredibly cordial and welcoming, ensuring our comfort throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with excellent heater facilities, which made our stay cozy and pleasant. The hotel's location is another highlight, being conveniently close to the Gulmarg Gondola, making it the perfect choice for a night stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gulmarg!

We visited Gulmarg and this resort. It is a decent resort with its own restraunt room service is good. You will get hot water in washrooms, heating blankets, heater for the room, smart TV and wifi is also there. The food options are less they should have more items in their menu for breakfast and dinner. Although the experience was awesome. Thanks to the hotel service.

Very good service, neither do they pay attention to the customers nor do they fulfill their needs no one should go here very bad service or even more dirty rooms.

By far the friendliest staff of everywhere we've stayed in Kashmir. Great value for money. Food was delicious. Amenities were great. Slightly outside of Gulmarg but still plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. 10/10 stay. Highly recommend!

Here's a short review you could use: Our one-night stay at The Gulmarg Gateway Resort with family was memorable. The resort offered a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were well-appointed, clean, and beautifully designed, blending luxury. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast dinner included in our stay with local flavours that delighted the whole family. Though a short stay, it left us with wonderful memories, and we'd love to return for a longer visit!

I have recently visited this hotel and faced the worst situation of my whole trip. They have mentioned different amenities in website and while I have checked in came to know the real situation and real face of the hotel. Central heater for whole resort : they have mentioned central heater and the heater will not work properly. Service man will come and do something as if it will work as super jet from now. Hot water for bath: they have only geaser at the top and for whole resort they will supply the same water . If not room is using the other room will get cool water . Room cleanliness : They didn't even change the bedsheets and room bed heater will also not work even if we set it for high. Power backup : They have the power issue and it switched off at 11:00 pm and backup again at 06:00 am . They do have generator but that is only for bedheaters and lights . Though bed heaters doesn't work. Complimentary breakfast : They have offered us the bread jam and bread butter and tea/coffee as complimentary. If we ask for anything else it's chargeable even maggi is chargeable. We paid rs 9k total for 2 rooms and faced worst experience. Never recommend this t To anyone .
