Zostel Srinagar

We stayed at Zostel Srinagar for 2 days during our Kashmir trip, and it was an amazing experience! The property has a great vibe--relaxing, cozy, and perfect for travelers. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The food was good, and the terrace offers a stunning view of Dal Lake, which made our mornings and evenings even more special. The property is well-maintained, neat, and clean. They also have bikes available for rent, which made exploring the nearby areas super convenient. Overall, this is definitely one of the best Zostels we've stayed at. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Srinagar!

Zostel Srinagar -- words are not enough to express the hospitality of this stay. The property is located near Dal Lake, with all major attractions close by. Special appreciation for the host, Irfan -- such a wonderful and kind soul. He ensures that guests enjoy their stay and feel the vibes. A highly recommended if you're looking for a comfortable & friendly stay in Srinagar.

The service was very good. Every person at service in the cafe as well as the manager at counter were very helpful and kind. Rooms were clean but could've been more clean. There are some areas improvement like :- 1) Cleanliness of wardrobes and bathrooms. 2) Games available at living area were incomplete for anyone to play. 3) Living area can have better books. 4) TV available at living area is very small in size as compared to the room space. Also, the channels subscribed were of no use. There were no OTT subscriptions like other zostel.

It was my first solo trip which will be memorable due to warm hospitality of the staff.They have variety of options for food. Kahwa is definitely a must try. The staff will help you from cabs, to approximate price of activities in different areas. They will help you with off beat places as well. This will definitely push me to go on more solo trips. Property maintenance can be better. Mats can be added in front of common washroom (outside the rooms) to avoid dirt. Outside washrooms can be maintained better in general. Reading light was broken in our beds. Room balcony should have some seating arrangement so that the balcony can be enjoyed. Property location is pretty decent and is walking distance from Dal Lake Nishst Garden side, but outdoor seating and vibe can be maintained better too. Guitar and ukulele kept in common spaces for open mic performances were broken. Service in the cafe and at the reception was amazing! Orders and payments are managed very well and are hassle free. Cafe is run very smoothly, orders don't twke much time either.Food is also very tasty.
