Great location and spacious room - we booked a premium family suite and that can accommodate even 5 adults. Service was appreciable with the front desk even entertaining a 2 hour early check FoC. In room dining average on food taste (we sampled some Chinese fare for dinner).

Experiences 1. Buffet: The Timings Of Buffet Is 7:30 AM But The Food Not Prepared Till 8:30 2. Then The Food In Buffet Was Very Bad Because The Food Was Not Cooked Well All The Items Is In Raw Condition. 3. The Food They served in Buffet Are Not Hand Made They Use Some Items Ready Made Like Aloo Tikki 4. The Uttapam Is Not Cooked Well Its All Raw 5. We Ordered Masal Bread Omlette And The Omlette Was Very Bad Because The Bread And omlette Served Both Separately And Omlette Doesn't Contain Masalas And Even Salt Also 6. Rooms Doesn't Contain The Amenities Like small towel , dental kits , and hair dryer and the slippers they provide is not use and throw they provide us the used ones The hotel is rated to be a 4 star but it only looks a 2star hoel Experience Are Not Good

Heater wasn't working during peak winter season and to get hot water in the bathroom takes over an hour. For a 4 star hotel things need to be much better. Rooms are good though.

First Day Experience Was Bad, because the breakfast food was not good the timing of breakfast was 7:30AM but the food was not prepared till 8:30AM then when they served the food the food was not cooked properly Then we personally ordered one masala bread omelette the bread served separately and the omelette was not good it doesn't contain any masala even salt also The Hotel Was Not Good The Hotel Comes In a Rating Of 4 Star But It Doesn't Contain Any Thing That Make Him A 4 Star Hotel It is only Rated To be a 2 star and the rooms looks good But the amenities of room is bad bathroom doesn't contain small towel dental kit and hair dryer also not a good experience.

According to me, Solar Residency is a 3-star hotel. They don't provide new slippers; instead, they give used ones. There are only basic amenities and nothing else. The service is also very slow. The only good thing is that the food is delicious. Even for breakfast, there aren't many options. The rooms are also very small, and all the furniture is old, outdated, and dirty.|If you want a luxury stay, then book Hotel The Dewan by Royal NaQash. It offers full amenities and is the best hotel in Srinagar so far.

Poor service. They don't even check the rooms before handing it to the customer. I had to wait for 2 hrs for water clogging issue in the bathroom after the room was handed over. The staff keeps on laughing on customers misery without any basic courtesy. Even in the restaurant the staff gives rude answers to any specific requests and laughs at customers back.
