Silk route Guest house

We had a terrible experience at this guest house. We have made our booking through booking.com and I spoke to their manager - Zulkarnain twice to confirm the same and he satisfies me every time saying that it is absolutely confirmed Despite all these confirmations, we arrived to find our room unavailable. After traveling for 24 hours, we were told to wait until 8 PM (we reached in afternoon). After a heated argument, he offered us a room that was still occupied by another guest. I questioned his reasoning--if they could disregard another guest's privacy, what was stopping them from doing the same to us? How could we possibly trust them in such a situation? As all-female travelers, we felt extremely uncomfortable when one of the staff started making unsettling remarks, questioning who was younger or older among us and mentioning that the hotel kept stones to ward off troublemakers. This behavior made it impossible for us to stay, forcing us to urgently find another hotel. We had heard positive things about Kashmiri hospitality, but this experience was alarming and deeply disappointing.

One of the cleanest and family friendly place to stay, away from the congestion of the city. Rooms were very spacious and well maintained. Host Mr Shah was very gracious. Would definitely recommend this place to the travellers who love peace and quiet and a clean accommodation.

If you want clean, spacious and quiet accommodation after a long tiring journey then this is definitely the place to stay. Away from the hustle bustle of the city, this place is nestled in the quiet part of town. Definitely would visit again.

One of the best experience in kashmir , 20 km from srinagar airport , away from all the city noise , clean and well maintained rooms and well behaved staff , and especially khalil bhais morning coffee Even the owner is also friendly and helpfull . Clearly one of the best stay experinece in our 5 day kashmir trip

Excellent stay Mr. Pasha and Mr. Shakeel, provided exceptional service by assisting us in acquiring exclusive Kashmiri items. The accommodations were well-maintained and organized.

Best place to stay. Rooms bahut clean aur achhe hain. Property bhut khubsurat hai. Bas thoda dikkat ye hai ki Srinagar se thoda bahar padta hai Ganderbal district me Sonmarg Wale route par. Owner aur Hotel Staff Gauhar bahut achhe Hain. Aas pass koi pure veg restaurant nhi hai. Aapko pahle se khakar aana hoga ya phir swiggy zomato se order karna padega.
