Sahara Grand Hills - Best Hotels in Srinagar| Hotels in Srinagar Near Dal Lake

The hotel is walkable distance from the Dal lake Ghat No 8, but the approach streets are narrow and dirty with stray dogs. The hotel has a good view of the Zabarwan mountains. The triple room was good with adequate space and heating. But the bathroom doesn't have any ventilation. The heater and geyser work from 6 pm to 12 noon, and will be adequate for tourists requirements. Food was not great and the dining area was not very clean.

Located near Dal Lake, is the only positive point of this hotel. Ventilation is a major problem in this hotel, rooms are warm but small with some fancy (stupid) design. Bathrooms are the worst (attaching pics), even the flush wasn't working. Breakfast and dinner are ok (mostly repeated items), the dining area is located in a separate building and you need to climb stairs, which makes it difficult for senior citizens, also it is unhygienic. The manager is rude, they will not entertain you, so that you are left with no choice.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are equipped wirh heater and warm water for bath. Location is very good, just opposite to dal late ghat number 7. Food and hospitality is very good . Excellent service by all the staff members. It's a family hotel.. I recommend it if you want ease of transport,good location and staff.

Rooms are good but location is not good, very congested road for entry, is quite far from dal lake.. food is also not good. Reception and staff persons are good. Location & food very poor..

Hotel Sahara Grand hills had a picturesque reception, rooms are spacious and clean. It is near Dal lake so one can approach the Dal lake easily on foot. Local market is also nearby so one can enjoy shopping after Shikara Ride. Food served was very sumptuous, staff was very cooperative & friendly. If you are planning to stay at economical place, pls go ahead with this hotel at Srinagar. Parking space is little bit congested at the entry so we parked our traveller outside but our luggage was managed by the hotel staff so it was ok.

Stayed here for 2 nights..wonderful experience..the best part is that they have a central room heating system that works great..and also their varieties and quality of food..and also the behaviour of staffs was nice..jst one thing..the towel could have been a little cleaner..that's it..

I liked the stay very much. Hotel is pleasant cleaned rooms. Hotel service is very good. Restaurant department Rafique bhai and Sohel bhai both are very cooperative and helpful. Entire hotel and it's staff are very helpful. Must visit this property. Food is also very nice and that too variety is offered here.
