Robusta Retreat (the lake side Resort)

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Robust Retreat, away from the city hustle and bustle the property gives fresh vibes with breathtaking view of Dal lake and snow peak mountains. Thoroughly impressed with the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff, the front desk team were warm and welcoming, ensuring a seamless check-in process. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated a genuine willingness to help, providing recommendations and assistance with a smile. The hotel's amenities and services were also top-notch, with comfortable and clean rooms, a delicious breakfast and dinner spread. What truly made our stay stand out, however, was the outstanding service from the staff. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest. Special and big shout out to Mubeer and Jareen from F&B team, incredible display of attention to details and making every meal even more scrumptious. We would highly recommend Robusta Retreat to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay with exceptional hospitality. Well done to the entire team!

We had an incredible 4 days at Robusta Retreat as a large vegetarian family touring Kashmir for the first time. We'd love to come back. First up, it's located at a quiet end of the Dal Lake and offers impeccable views of the lake, the nearby Duck Park and mountains from the room. The property is quiet and the rooms were clean and well prepared. It's close to the main road and we found roaming around Srinagar in a hired cab really easy from here. The best part of the resort is its extremely warm and helpful staff. The team bent over backwards to ensure all of us, especially the kids and elders were comfortable. The housekeeping staff, esp. Shaista, were kind enough to take a lot of specific requests with a smile. The food was extremely good, served on time and well-prepared. We got to enjoy a few Kashmiri delicacies such as Nadru, Kahwa and Noon Chai while not missing our usual go-to options such as Idly, Paratha and Upma. Jeraan, Tanveer, Mobeen and Anil Thapa (chef) made us feel like they were family. They even engaged our young kids when we had our meals and helped arrange for a bespoke bonfire experience. We'd for sure love to visit Srinagar again and be served by this wonderful team!

A fantastic 4-star property in Srinagar where we stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Located beside Dal Lake, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the hotel offers a peaceful ambience and beautiful views of the lake with the Zabarwan Hills in the backdrop. The rooms are maintained clean and tidy. Plenty of open space for a casual walk and cycles are also available free of cost. Breakfast and dinner were complimentary. Food was very tasty and delicious and with good variety. The staff were exceptionally polite, supportive, and caring. One night, we returned around 11 PM, after dinner service had ended. Yet, they kindly prepared food as per our preferences and served it late at night. The compound gate is always kept closed and 24 hours security is also there Would love to stay there during our next visit also. Highly recommended

We stayed at this hotel for 6N in March 2025. Its a relatively small and cozy hotel with 17 rooms located on quieter side of Dal Lake. Rooms were clean, spacious with mesmerizing views of zabarvan mountains and Dal lake. The food at hotel was delicious with a decent spread for Breakfast and Dinner. The hotel staff was really courteous and soft spoken .. and went out of their way to support and help anytime. On couple occasions we had to start early by 5 am.. the staff ensured packed breakfast on time... On the last day we got a complimentary upgrade to their Suite room which was pleasant surprise... They actually made our stay memorable... Thanks to one and all ...right from reception to house keeping to restaurant... ||Would recommend to book Lake and mountain view rooms at this hotel ...

Beautiful quiet property. .. Quiet and serene... Will. Find beautiful birds all around. Beautiful clean rooms. All staff are very nice and helpful. They also have badminton and carrom games. The house keeping staff Tufair was very helpful! Special thanks to Tanvir and jiran from f rom f&b..and head chef... The veg food was delicious!!!

We stayed at Robusta Retreat - The Lakeside Resort in Srinagar for two days in February 2025 with our 8-month-old baby, and it was a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, offering a stunning view of snow-capped mountains. The food was very tasty and had a wide spread, making every meal a delight. But what truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring all our baby's needs were met. The chef prepared baby food on request, and the staff provided helpful tips for visiting Gulmarg with a baby. They also allowed us a late check-out, which made our trip much smoother and more enjoyable with the baby. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Srinagar. Highly recommended!
