What was supposed to be a relaxing end to a two weeks road trip turned out to be quite the opposite.||Few hours after checking in, and having a relaxing time in room, I received a call from reception advising to vacate the room due to maintenance issues with the AC and warm water. Of course this was very inconvenient but eventually managed to get all my packing sorted, and out I went.||Once at my new room, which was suppose to be an "upgrade", but turned out to be exactly the same room category but in a much worse condition..I chose to accept it. Unpacked my luggage for a second time, and eventually managed to settle in a relax mode. One hour later I was going for a bath and turned on the water and out poured disgusting muddy brown and smelling wanter! Picked up the phone, dialled reception and asked for the manager to come to inspect. He did, and once again I found myself packing up and vacating the room.||This time, I had to wait downstairs while another suitable room was getting located...which eventually they found - my original room I initially had checked in too!! Turned out there was nothing wrong with it to begin with!!!||So few hours later, after tons of inconvenience and frustration, I was back in my original room.||All I got for the hassle, was a free meal at the restaurant, which was nothing compared to what I went through. The restaurant experience was also not without faults. There were too many staff on the floor without enough work to do, so they all gathered around the wait station and having a social hang out, which was also right next to my table where I am trying to enjoy my meal in relaxation - but instead I have to listen to their loud conversation and laughters....very professional!! To top it up, exactly the same thing next morning at breakfast service also!||All of this for a very crazy overpriced hotel!||A complete unacceptable experience. I have been a Radisson VIP member for years, and this is without doubt the worse I have had to experience!

Hotel had an excellent incumbent staff and provided excellent house keeping service with top notch spa services. This is a mid city hotel so various markets are nearby. We enjoyed evening hailstorms near the pool area!! Gym is a bit small but keeps you on the toes
My stay at Radisson Srinagar was a memorable experience which I will cherish for life. I would like to thank |AQIB( fnb) , MAJID MIR and ZAHOOR who took speciaL care of me and my family and friends at the restaurant. They were very polite, well groom and well trained. AQIB is very professional, kind and made my experience at the restaurant memorable. WILL HAVE TO COME BACK AGAIN. VISHNU KUMAR was so lively and energetic he served us lip smacking varieties of chat and perfect cup of hot tea in morning accord to Mt preferences. AFREENA( hostess) was very hospitable and Lloyed us a table with a view. She is really sweet and professional. |Sabit(FO) was very pleasant and welcoming. My luggage was brought down quickly and it was a pleasant check in and check out experience. Shahid( FO ) helped me login as I was experiencing network issues late at night. He came to our room and helped us .|I would also like to appreciate efforts of SAHAD, GULAAM E HASSAN who ensured I got hot meals at my table. SHIPALI (fnb) ensured the first day all our needs at table were fulfilled even without asking. She is truly a star. Ishfiqpayer ( H/K ) cleaned oue rooms very professionally and took care for all our needs. Lastly I would like to thank GM Mr Manoj who was so humble and kind I was so glad to meet someone from South Delhi who. It was a beautiful property with such a pleasant stay .I will definitely like to visit this property again.The rooms were rally clean and comfortable. It was a beautiful |property. A good hotel with good amenities. Food was reasonable, but if you arrive little late, around 10 PM, what you get is cold food and scrapings. Staff in the dining hall is arrogant. Besides this, everyone is looking at you eagerly, rather questioningly, for tips. Tip is expected for even small things.
I have stayed at other Radisson prior and loved the service so I had booked Radisson Srinagar. Utterly disappointed. Firstly the reception staff were not very courteous, felt like a government office. In the room, the bathroom there was no door partition between the bath area and the toilet, so entire toilet gets wet when we shower. We were checking out early and the reception lady had promised to provide us packed breakfast at the time of check in and we had also reminded the reception staff at the night regarding the same. In the morning there was no breakfast packed. The morning reception staff was unaware of the same. Ridiculous service and pathetic experience from Radisson Srinagar.
The hotel is overpriced for the kind of looks and feel it gives on arrival. The size of room, bathroom and a general apathy makes you feel as if you have wasted your money for a brand that meant more to you while booking. General access to the hotel is through a lane ( bright side of it is that you are away from the road noise). Location is strategic though, but Google map gave us a hard time finding it.
Overall, it is an pleasant experience for Radisson hotel.. The room had a view of the mountains. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were very courteous. You can expect a usual four star Hotel standard but nothing very remarkable. The staff were very pleasant and very polite. I've reduced one star only because of the location (compared to other good hotels )
The staff are the highlight of this property! Very helpful and cheerful right from the start. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Wide spread of food. This hotel was very refreshing to stay at after seeing how customer service has detoriated in every travel industry. Only issue to point out in the room is the lack of ample ventilation in the bathroom and water leakage from the bottom of the shower screen.
