Pleasant Stay with Excellent Restaurant Service I recently stayed at this hotel and had a comfortable experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. While the overall hotel facilities were decent, what truly stood out was the exceptional service from the restaurant staff. Mr. Aftab and Toufiq were excellent staff members and catered to all our restaurant orders. Every meal was a delight, not just because of the quality of the food but because of the warm and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience, always friendly, professional, and accommodating to special requests. Their hospitality truly made a difference in our stay. The excellent service at the restaurant made our visit memorable. I appreciate their dedication and would consider staying here again.

We had booked Opera Inn for two nights from April 20 to April 22. Unfortunately, due to a natural calamity--landslides in the Ramban area on April 20--the main road was completely blocked for the next 10 days. We were stranded at the Udhampur check post for over 5 hours, and eventually informed that no vehicles would be allowed through for at least 10 days. Initially, we thought of canceling our trip, but our driver suggested taking an alternate route via Rasori. This was a much longer and more difficult journey. After enduring over 30 hours on the road, including delays from further landslides, we finally reached Opera Inn in Srinagar at 9 PM on April 21--completely exhausted. We checked in late on April 21 and checked out early on April 22. Since we could not use our booking for April 20 due to an unavoidable natural disaster, I spoke with the hotel receptionist at check-in about a refund for that night. He advised me to contact MakeMyTrip (MMT), stating it was a genuine case and they would support it. However, it's been more than 10 days and MMT keeps informing me that Opera Inn is refusing any refund. This is extremely disappointing and shows a lack of empathy towards customers who go through unforeseen circumstances beyond their control. I sincerely urge others to think twice before booking this hotel. A good hotel should not just provide a room, but also understand and support its guests in difficult times.

Acc to me its the best property to stay in Srinagar. They had the best staff best hospitality n the best food . Had the best new years with them . Worst place to stay. It seems reviews provided on Google are paid review. Food is not having any test. Bathrooms are dirty and staff behaviour is not good. Heaters and hot water available for limited time , as per discretion of hotel management. Waste of money . Not recommended to stay. Window and bathroom handles are broken
