LIEU D' AMOUR

We recently stayed at Lieu d'Amour for a weekend getaway, and overall, it was a really lovely experience. The hotel has a romantic vibe, perfect for couples looking to relax and disconnect for a few days. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with a cozy, intimate feel. The little details--like fresh flowers and soft lighting--made it feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, and they gave us great recommendations for nearby places to explore. It felt like they genuinely cared that we were having a good time. We had dinner at the hotel Roof top restaurant one night, and the food was quite good--fresh ingredients, nicely presented, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic place to unwind, Lieu d'Amour is a solid choice. It's not over-the-top luxury, but it has charm, character, and a peaceful vibe that's hard to find. We'd definitely consider coming back.

The fantastic service by the entire staff specially to Uzair taking care of all the customers in a very humble and familiar way, rest all chief and other staff of the kitchen was excellent, welcome was very good by the reception staff, Gosia mam, Shazaya and Manaz, love to be with again at the same place and enjoy the same treatment with old songs with the entire staff. Love you all special thanks to Uzair, Tarikh, Adnan, Iftekar, Irfan, G H Rosl, Thanks for everything and will meet you soon again and also give you the good business in future. The rooms were dirty and sticky...the water heater was not working...the window in the bathroom was not tinted hence not much of privacy...there was no availability for separate vegetarian containers at the buffet...also the breakfast was not good it was only a simple plain bread and curry and other than that it was all non veg...no welcome drink was served...we ordered 4 cups of coffee and were charged 450/-!!!!! Absolutely terrible experience! Only the staff was nice and soft spoken.

I've been to many hotels before. We had visited this place as a family. Lets start with the pros: the hotel staff, especially Ghulam, his colleague and the lady at the front desk were really nice and helpful. Cons: - the hotel is managed terribly. We were given wet towels when we wanted an extra towel, the bedsheet was dirty and had stains, the AC worked for 20 minutes and then tripped etc. - the hotel designer/architecture has such poor taste and its one of the worst designed hotels. The bathrooms don't drain well. The water accumulates throughout the washroom. The black color throughout the rooms is so unappealing and make the rooms look so small and dark. - the cupboards should at least have doors, which are not present. Some may like this dark colored theme, but it wasn't for us.

My air-conditioned room was impeccably clean and came equipped with all the modern comforts I needed--a flat-screen TV, ample wardrobe space, and a pristine private bathroom. The complimentary Wi-Fi made staying connected a breeze. I also loved the on-site restaurant, which served a delightful mix of Chinese, Indian, and local dishes (with great vegetarian and halal options). The staff were courteous and went out of their way to assist with local tips and even provided smooth airport transfer service. Overall, Lieu D' Amour combines comfort, convenience, and authentic local hospitality to create a truly outstanding experience in Srinagar

Super treatment from the staff of this hotel namly Gulu, uzair and others.. And the rooms where neat and clean didn't expected when we arrived Kashmir for our five day trip..

Good Hotel. Decent stay. Service is very good , hospitality of the staff are very nice and pleasant especially Mr. Uzair.
