I Had a wonderful stay at hotel york. Housekeeping was attentive and quick to respond to requests, and the concierge team went above and beyond to help us with local recommendations. The level of service here made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for top-notch hospitality!

False images uploaded on goibibo. Really bad rooms. Standard rooms are too small to move. Old furniture in bad shape. Taps not working properly. Poor room aesthetics. Really bad food it appeared to be food for hostellers. Breakfast just had poha and puri-bhaji.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I visited Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack and stayed at several hotels during my trip. I booked this hotel after seeing good pictures and reviews on MakeMyTrip, but the reality did not match my expectations. The atmosphere at the hotel was not as pleasant as the photos suggested. There was ongoing construction and repair work on the front side, and debris was scattered in the hotel corridors. The Wi-Fi speed was poor, slower than a 3G mobile network, and there were frequent power outages in my room, although electricity was available at night. The room was very small, far smaller than it appeared in the photos, and there was no wardrobe to store my clothes. What was most irritating, however, was that many of the lower-level employees were constantly asking for tips. Although two managers were helpful, they asked me to rate the hotel with more stars on social media platforms. I feel that the high ratings on MakeMyTrip might be the result of this practice. When I told them I would rate the hotel later, one of the staff members even asked for my phone to leave a review for me on MakeMyTrip. Unfortunately, I am unable to edit that review now. Overall, my experience did not live up to the expectations set by the online listing.

Worst experience in my whole lifetime. Never book this hotel. If you want to waste your money, discomfort, harrasment, then go for it.The receptionist or manager is very rude ,not professional at all. He insults his guest and they don't even provide any extra amenities. Electric blanket are not working properly, electricity issue, and you need to whole night if you need warm water from geyser.

Stayed with my wife, my overall stay was fine. It is good hotel for people looking for budget hotel and near dalgate chowk. The rooms were very small even though i booked premium room. Breakfast options were limited upto 2 only and there were electricity issues but the hotel provided back up power.

The room was fairly average and not particularly impressive. However, the washroom was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were polite and cooperative, which added to the experience. Unfortunately, an early morning landline call at 5 AM disturbed my sleep, but apart from that, the stay was decent overall.

Good overall service. Internet connectivity needs to be improved and the bathroom needs to be having more racks. The sink needs to be fixed. Accessibility wise near to Dal Lake. Premium rooms are good. Menu is very limited for lunch and dinner. How Danesh, Mir, and staff were very helpful. Owner Mr.Arif was friendly and hospitable too
