Hotel Shah Abbas Palace

We stayed here from 04/04/25 to 08/04/25 feeling excellent. From third floor balcony sunset viewing in background of dal lake unforgettable. Staff behavior is also good. Vintage in Srinagar. Some modifications needed to maintain this hotel top notch.

The only good point is the front facing room . You have a good view from your hotel room other then that it's just not worth it. The bathrooms are pathetic water kept on leaking .The room was okay for the price also has a blower to keep you warm and a mini fridge. Overall not worth it.

Such a pathetic service and no power back-up! And no heater Though our breakfast and dinner was included in package but we have to wait to have our meal for approx 35mins just for the confirmation from reception. And meal i would rate 2/10 I wouldn't not recommend anyone this hotel for stay. Only if you want dal lake view from your room, and no other rooms available from other hotel ONLY THEN YOU CAN STAY HERE!

Convenient location,lake facing rooms, necessary basic amenities,heated mattress, satisfactory room service, geyser,buffet breakfasts n dinnerd and alert staffs.. highly recommended for the price charged.

Rooms need to be more clean and tidy, extremely needed to work upon on bringing up cleanliness. Whereas room service, food, staff is generously fabulous, they always come up with a solution with smiling faces. Great job and applause to Mr manzoor and his team.

No generator, frequently power cut, fourth floor corridor is not as like as other floor. Dal lake view is excellent.

Location is good but the food was disappointing, but the main issue was the rude behaviour of one staff member in restaurant (long tall guy with beard). I urge the owner to address this, as one person's actions can negatively impact the reputation of the restaurant. It seemed he was more focused on showcasing his bodybuilding skills than providing good service. I will not recommend couples and family due to this behaviour...

there was poo smeared all over tge walls of the bathroom,I also heard loud groaning noises from the Abondend room next and then a guy called miksud Ali mere came In and kept talking about his chubby little grandson from England,I loved it so much the stay was great,good bumming.
