Gulab Resort

This Hotel ain't much GOOD. At last time the owner was worried for his money nd tip. He annoyed us at last time. Food given was tasteless, he kept coming to our room nd talking to me just for MONEY. There was daily problem in power cuts I would prefer that DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL.

I have stayed here in December 22-25 2023. This resort is in very good location and it is peaceful. The owner is very helpful and his interaction with customer is very good. The accommodation is budget friendly and closer to many gardens in the city. The owner has helped us with hot bags for the chilly nights and also helped to recommend other places. Con points are 1) power backup not present. If you stay in room during day it will be difficult without power backup due to cold. 2) geyser is not that effective. If you turn on for long time also the water won't be that hot.

Beautiful and awesome resort along with good hospitality

This is not a proper hotel it is more like a guest house. Rooms are ok according to budge (it is a budget stay). Every room has geyser but it is not working 24 hour hot water comes only during morning and evening time. Place is quite and situated in locality. Major drawback is the location because it is situated far from main market approx 10km and the boulevard road has so much traffic jam all time it takes 1 to 1.5 hour to travel back in this hotel. Stayed there during ramadan all shops nearby closes within 6pm .

We were bit skeptical initially due to distance but overall very good and homely stay Owner hosted us all very well and happily. We ate here only and dal rice was amazing

This is a privately managed property and seems more like a home stay. The rooms were okay-ish in terms of cleanliness but the bathrooms were very dirty. There were traces of previous guests everywhere like garbage bins, cabinets, used soaps. Not sure if the washroom was even cleaned after the previous guests checked out. We booked this hotel with breakfast online but couldn't reach that day due Jammu highway being closed. So we called the hotel for a fresh booking and surprisingly they charged us even more than what we paid online and didn't even include the breakfast. At checkout, no one was available and we had to knock on many doors before someone answered and they finally left from the hotel. Not recommended! Update: Initially I rated 2 stars but looking at the rude response reducing to 1 stars!

Dealing of Owner was Very Excellent. Service, Location of RESORT is very good. Familiar atmosphere also very peaceful. Had a GREAT stay for one week.
