A recommended place to stay in Srinagar. Good service. Staff was polite and took good care of the guests. Rooms are spacious. They do need renovation though. They have a veg restaurant which had a nice spread of buffet and veg dishes. Food was delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here 2 days ago. The hotel is located in a posh area with very good eateries and reasonable shops nearby. It is just adjacent to a hospital and close to Dal and Lal chowk. Rooms are good. We had booked a suite. Staff is very helpful,courteous and prompt. Dinner buffet was very good but they need to work a bit on adding more items in breakfast. Overall it is worth th price. Neat and clean.

I visited batra in Feb 2025 with my frnd we had 2 rooms and stay almost 4 nights , Hotel is excellent location, staff are very humble and nice people, food pure veg delight , Excellent for pureveg tourist with excellent breakfast n dinner , their restaurant staff is so humble n polite, they make fresh paneer chilly for our kids on a request out of buffet menu, very nice menu All the staff are good n cooperative. Very pleasant experience staying at Hotel Batra.. Being a pure Veg hotel we had lovely and tasty JAIN FOOD as well.. Staff here is very cooperative and cleanliness is also very good.. We would surely suggest our friends about the Hotel.. Thanks.

A centrally located hotel in Srinagar, just 10 min walk to the famous Dal Lake. The rooms are a bit small but have all necessary amenities. The hotel only serves vegetarian food but the taste is not so great. The front desk is really helpful, specially Mr. Tahir who is always there to help u with a smile.

We had an excellent stay along with 30-40 guests over three days. The management ensured every guest was individually taken care of. The vegetarian food was not only delicious but also health; truly one of a kind in Srinagar. The rooms were hygienic and cleaned meticulously to the last detail. Highly recommended for a seamless and well-maintained experience.

Food at this hotel is good. We had dinner and breakfast included in our package and we really enjoyed the buffet. However, there needs to be a lot of maintenance done in the rooms. Firstly, the door knob fell off when we checked in, it took 2 hours for maintenance to repair it. Secondly, their washroom layout is really pathetic. Their is no division between shower area and washroom/wash basin. While taking shower, whole washroom gets flooded and the water drains out so slow. We literally had to ask for vipers to clean and dry the washroom.

If you're in Srinagar, then Batra hotels is a go-to-hotel. Keeping aside the rooms, bathroom and food which are good, the most outstanding is their service and hospitality. Sir Shahid Yousuf also helped us resolve any issues that cropped up which made our stay in Srinagar quite comfortable.
