OYO Hotel Azad

Not recommended for anyone whether you are traveling alone or family! All photos are age old. Property has been deteriorated. Dirty room, uncleaned mattress, stinking bathrooms, leaking water, ... This hotel has everything to the worst... They do not care of their customers at all. This gives you a feeling of staying in a slum

It was a very bad experience during my visit in AUG22.. we went in group of 8 for 4 rooms with 2 days booking. Reaching at the hotel found its full of white dust due to an ongoing paint job. It's an old property with make up. The toilet says all the history. Though we have 2 days of booking left in one day... Service is also not good...

Anybody who gives this place more than 1 star has no experience of hotels or must be desperate. Nothing in the hotel description is true. It's miles from Jhelum river. No wi fi in rooms as advertised, only available in evenings in freezing cold lobby. No newspapers as advertised. No mountain view as advertised. The outside restaurant is just a shed. Room is ice cold even in spring. So many people hanging around you don't know who is staff and who is not. The worst part is they are making alterations on the top floor and I had to shout at them to stop moving furniture and building materials around at 2am!! So many people coming and going up and down the stairs and doors banging and cars in the courtyard below all night it was like sleeping in a railway station. And first thing in the morning they started sawing planks right outside my door. Finally I had to go to the petrol station next door in the rain with my luggage to pay by credit card. What a joke. I've stayed in hundreds of types of accommodation from 7 stars to no stars and this must be the worst. No value for money at all.

Booked via Goibibo and place was decent. The best thing is their kitchen you can eat whatever you wanna eat and he will arrange it for you. The service boys were well behaved and were fast. Sometimes TV won't work and phone is also a little tricky. "A good budget stay" to conclude..

Staying at 2ndApril to 8th april. Well accommodation. Gr. Floor have 2 nos good Family rooms. 1st Floor & 2nd floor rooms are good but 3rd floor rooms not good . friends ..please confirm the Specified rooms before confirmation. They are not maintain their commitment when you reached. Foods are not good.Owner & Staffs are so friendly.

It was a poor stay and bad experience at Hotel Azad. We didi not get the room first day, They are over booked and we were given room in ordinary hotel next to Azad Hotel. The Manager/Owner/staff had no concern that we reached after long journey. The next day Room is shifetd after so many shouting.The room gaiven to us was of poor Fan Quality. Even after so many requests No change or concern. Pure lack of Hospitality. No one was concerned. Last day they changed our room but same problem there also. we were fed up till that time. Major issue was No power backup, Genset was there but no fan was working on Genset and it was really hot in Srinagar. No compensation, No service. Overall a very bad experience. You can get other better options in same price band. Cheers

I was stayed in this Hotel In Month of April end. We have a family of 4 person stayed in 2 double bed room. First problem is room are too small and washroom was very dirt and smelly. In hotel from every rooms a dirty smell was coming. Its so critical situation that we have book hotel for 3 nights and after 1 nights we was checkout from hotel. Hotel was not refunded also the money of 2 nights till now. I will not recommended to stay any one in this hotel.

Dont ever do booking of this hotel...we had our stay here for 2 nights and we had a terrible experience.as we enter in room we saw that room is not cleaned and just a while ago someone smoked cigarette in room.bathroom is dirty and there is no avalibity of water. Taps found broken.kitchen was hell pathetic no taste to food at all. Staff is in very less numbers.
