Oak Heaven Cottage Gulmarg

"Amazing rooms, stunning views outside the cottage, traditional interiors, very nice hospitality, polite and friendly staff, and nice location, quite close to Tangmarg main road. However, despite paying that much, their treatment of our cab driver was not that good, the accommodation provided to him was not that good." Rooms: Nice rooms with beautiful traditional interiors. Beds have electric heating provision. They also provide gas-powered heaters. The views from the windows are stunning. Service: Polite and friendly staff. Warm hospitality. Fulfilled many of our requests including one for Kashmiri Kahwa. However, our cab driver did not like the accommodation provided by them to him. Despite paying that much, it was sad to know that they didn't take care of him that well. Location: It is in Tangmarg (a small town), just near the Tangmarg main road. It takes about 30 mins or so by car to reach Gulmarg from here.

Excellent Stay with the Best Ambiance & Outstanding Service - The Best Hotel Staff! I recently stayed at Oak Heaven Cottage Gulmarg, and it was an incredible experience. The ambiance of the hotel was truly remarkable--elegant, cozy, and beautifully designed to create a relaxing atmosphere. Housekeeping kept my room spotless, and the restaurant staff provided excellent service with great attention to detail. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference. The food was , I will definitely return!

Rooms were super clean and very well maintained. You get there own comfy slippers to roam around in hotel. Definately recommend this hotel. Only downside is that hotel location is down hill in Tangmarg. Rest all is good. Drung waterfall is also very near to this hotel. Also try chicken rogan josh made by hotel, taste very good.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful aesthetic vibe that made me feel right at home. The host was incredibly supportive and attentive to all my needs, ensuring a comfortable experience. I stayed here during peak winter, and they provided gas heaters and electric beds, which kept the room warm and inviting.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the hotel offered a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home. Their positive attitude and engaging conversations added a personal touch to our stay. It was a truly delightful experience that we would gladly recommend to anyone!

One of the best stays we had in Kashmir, their food is amazing, great rooms and great heating, multiple heating options were provided, very good and clean, the caretaker is extraordinarily sweet and helpful as well as welcoming, we had one of the best rajma chawal during the entire trip.

Best and very reasonable cottage in gulmarg. Service and food is mind blowing, staff behaviour is very nice and they took care of all our comforts. Highly recommended!!!
