ROSHAN RESORTS

We booked the hotel , thinking it would be a nice get together of our entire family . Little did we know , this would be one of the most frightening nights of our life . We were traveling with a 4 month old and a 2 year old , along with 6 senior citizens. We only saw the scorpion near the child seat because we were up playing games , had we not been awake , they would have stung someone during their sleep . We were forced to leave the venue due to this hazard in the middle of the night despite the roads were dark to commute on as we had found not one but three scorpions in the middle of the place !! These were the only ones we found , we did not wait to find more and left immediately. If there was a zero rating i would put that as the place put an entire family at risk without thinking of the consequences and what was supposed to be a wonderful get together turned into a nightmare with 0 accountability taken by the owner of the venue .

Worst place to stay a night, horrible and messy rooms.||Please do not stay at this place if you have kids travelling with you, because the place is infested with scorpions. ||Also see picture how evacuation looks like in middle of a night. ||||* horrible , dirty , scary , unsafe *

Really bad, shabby rooms, poor service, the workers used to cut the electricity, the geyser was not working. The workers were kinda friendly, but super lazy, the food was barely ok, the view was also just ok, the owner was sus.We only needed 4 rooms but the owner just forced us to get 5, and since we didn't have much of a choice, we had to get 5 rooms, the owner promised us that "We will not get any other booking, it will just be your family. (Proceeds to get 2 bookings). The owner was smoking inside the resort even though there was a clear No Smoking board outside. Not worth the money

The location is really amazing and the view from the room was very beautiful and scenic. The service and food was really amazing as well. The staff made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible!

Very good place to stay. Location,ambience, hospitality, friendly nature of the staff and the owner makes you feel at home. The view from the top and the cleanliness of the property makes you more comfortable. The food provided here doesn't make you miss your home.

Humble staff and especially owner of the property.

This hotel has the perfect view of the Himalayas and the river runs across it. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean too. For me the food was average. All in all a good place to stay.

First thing, do not get confused with the name Roshan Resorts. There is nothing "Resort" in it. It is basically a small hotel tucked far away from main city in Pahalgam.||||Pros:||1. Location is good - beside the mountains and Lidder river flowing by in front of it||2. Awesome view of snow clad mountains from the rooms||3. Rooms are good and clean||4. Food is awesome - go for chicken biryani in local kashmiri flavours||||Cons:||1. Initially it is difficult to locate the hotel as there are no signboards nearby the hotel||2. Hotel is little high up in the mountains having lot of stairs - can be problem if travelling with children or elders||3. Nearby markets are a little far away - 20-30 mins walk||||Overall a small average hotel in a beautiful location but can be opted.
