Hotel BEL AIR

The hotel is situated in a beautiful tranquil village location (beside NH 244 ) at Daksum on the way to sintham top. The property is surrounded by mountains and a beautiful view of sintham top. The proprietor Addil bhai is a very nice person and helpful. The food we tried there was very good. The chef basir bhai is not only a good chef but also a good human being. The service of all the staff was very good. We enjoyed a pleasant stay there.

We stayed at Hotel Bel Air Daksum and overall had a decent experience with some highlights and a few areas for improvement. First, I would like to give a special mention to the housekeeping staff member who helped us carry our heavy luggage up to our room. He was extremely respectful, cooperative, and professional -- truly deserving of recognition and tips. His assistance made a wonderful first impression. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The attached bathroom was well-maintained and clean, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. However, guests should note that the hotel does not have elevators, so carrying luggage up the stairs could be a challenge without assistance. Also, basic amenities such as room slippers and dental kits were not provided in the room, which could be improved for guest convenience. During dinner, communication was difficult as the waiter serving us was unable to converse in English. I had booked a MAP Meal Plan package which included breakfast and dinner. Do note that there was no buffet -- meals were served by table service, and we were not informed in advance of the dishes being served. A disappointing incident occurred during dinner: I noticed that the table beside mine was served grilled tandoori chicken, while I received chicken gravy. Upon asking the waiter, I was told that tandoori chicken was not available. Later, when I checked with the reception, I was told that it was not included in my package. However, after confirming with my travel agent, I was informed that there should be no difference in meal offerings for guests on the MAP plan. While the staff was not rude to me, it was still upsetting to have been given two different excuses, and it felt unfair and dishonest. While the hotel itself is situated in a beautiful location and offers comfortable rooms, the service experience -- particularly honesty and communication during meals -- could definitely be improved.

Beautiful Hotel with all best facility in Daksum. The Sinthan Top is near to this. It is on the main road. The Hotel has good restaurant facility alos where you can have only food also of you don't want to stay. The quality of the food almost every item is very good and tasty. The complete area is very neat and clean. If anyone want to have snow view, they can visit to this place.

A hidden Daksum delight! Warm, smiling staff made us feel instantly welcome. The spacious room boasted breathtaking views, even from the bathroom! Delicious food, excellent amenities including a heater and hot water, ensured a comfortable stay. A truly memorable experience, thanks to the lovely people and stunning setting. Big thanks to Nazir Ahmed bhai and his crew!

BELAIR Daksum is a peaceful retreat surrounded by pine forests, with great road connectivity and just a short drive from Sinthan Top. A beautiful river nearby adds to the charm of the location. Rooms are clean and cozy, with an effective heating system for winter stays. The staff is warm and helpful, and the food--especially local dishes like Rogan Josh--is delicious. A perfect spot for a relaxing mountain getaway!

This is a very nice place of stay for families too and is located adjacent to the main road. Rooms are comfortable and food is very good . Service inside the Restaurant is very good. Spent two nights here with my friend and will surely revisit with family.
