The location is very central and easy to access many shops eateries. Very vibrant reception. Excellent hosts. Family rooms are so convenient with children. Great place to stay.our driver Umar made sure we visit every place that was worth it and took is for the best shopping also

We stayed foe 3 nights in April. The room and stay were worth the discounted rate. Rooms are adequate for a family of 4, location is great too. We had booked a lake facing view but we got a rather disappoint view - that was one let down. Another one was we never were given a room access card for the entire stay citing previous guest mistakes - not sure why it takes so long to program another access card which is perhaps 3 decades old technology. However leaving those peeves aside the stay was worth the price . There is good tourist crowd. Location as shown in travel portals was probably old , now they have 2 other Mamta hotels so the greenery outside is virtually non existent. The front facade of the hotel and porch are impressive. House keeping arrives are good and prompt, reception too takes the call and answers things quickly. Front room has a heater and both rooms have smart TVs and STBs - we could enjoy IPL on star sports 2. Lobby area can be better illuminated to make the experience grand. Overall a good place to park if the objective is really tourism for the entire day.

Best hotel in Srinagar. Property is excellent, elegant, very spacious. Rooms were clean. Most important it's service was excellent. Very good staff , be the room service persons or restaurant staff, all were very nice people. We had a very comfortable stay here. The reception team of Mr. Muzafar and staff, all were very nice persons, very humble. The food was tasty. Room service excellent. Very small to note that they supplied us mineral waters in room, everyday , without asking for it, rarely found in other hotels. Overall highly recommended hotel in Srinagar.

Located in the heart of Srinagar, Hotel Grand Mamta is one of the city's oldest and most sought-after accommodations. The rooms, though slightly dated, are impressively spacious with king-sized beds, a modern heating system perfect for snowy days, and updated bathrooms equipped with all recommended utilities. The room service is efficient and reliable, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The buffet for both dinner and breakfast offers an extensive selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, all of which are delicious and halal. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night, 3-day stay. A special mention goes to their exceptional hospitality--they even packed a takeaway breakfast for our early morning checkout at 7 AM to catch a flight to Delhi. Additionally, they have a charming coffee and savory shop with a small garden setup on their driveway lawn, which I personally found delightful. It's a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere. However, the room rates are on the premium side, reflective of their quality services and amenities, and availability can be challenging since Kashmir is a year-round tourist destination. If Allah wills, we would love to return to this wonderful hotel for another memorable stay!

The Family Suite Room that we booked at Grand Mamta was comfortable, clean and hygienic. Complementary breakfast had good variety & taste. Dinner was a bit pricey but tasted good. Sightseeing was facilitated by Mr Tariq who was exceptional in coordinating both local & outstation travel. Special mention to Mr Imtiaz who drove us around for our stay. His friendly and amiable nature deserves a special praise. Overall a comfortable & wonderful stay at Kashmir.

Infrastructure very good but i ordered food soup it was like water nixed with ketchup. I ordered masala dosa but they denied masala but only provided dosa with sambhar. Sambhar was bitter in test and i hardly could consume 1 or 2 spoon . And i wasted 700 rs for poisonous food. The other negative thing was it shows 93 amenities but on reaching there it was told that the some amenities are only with platinum mamta. Then why they are showing the amenities. Swimming pool also is chargeable. I knew 1st time that Swimming pool can be chargeable in hotel. And hotel took full amount in advance.

We were there last week and stayed on the newly built 4th floor. Very well appointed room. No expense was left to ensure that top facilities are provided in the room. Food is average. Service is prompt. Hotel reception provides general information needed by tourists and arranges transport for visits and sightseeing. All in all a good experience. Recommend others to stay there.

I recently took a road trip from Delhi to Srinagar. I'm usually cautious about booking hotels online since the photos on booking platforms can be misleading, especially when traveling with family. I rarely take risks, but with it being peak season around New Year, no hotels were offering the "pay at hotel" option. Left with no choice, I made full payment in advance to secure the rooms. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the front desk staff. They greeted us warmly and were very accommodating, letting us check in first before completing the formalities, understanding how tired we were from the journey. The check-in process was seamless. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. While the decor felt a bit dated, it was well-maintained and clean. We were fortunate to have rooms with larger washrooms, which were spotless and dry. The availability of 24-hour hot running water was a huge relief in the freezing -2degC weather. The hotel's restaurant served delicious food, eliminating any worries about finding good dining options nearby. Another major plus was the location--it's just a 2-3 minute walk to Dal Lake, so we didn't have to rely on our car every time we wanted to visit. We stayed at The Grand Mamta for four nights, and the experience exceeded our expectations. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to friends and family for its excellent service, comfort, and prime location.
