The hotel's location is excellent due to its proximity to the main market. However, this advantage is only meaningful if guests are actually accommodated at the hotel itself. In my case, despite booking a week in advance, I was redirected to a different property upon arrival, with the excuse that the hotel was fully booked. This was disappointin especially considering the early reservation. A more transparent and reliable booking process is needed to avoid such inconveniences for future guests.

Best hotel in katra with top notch service. Great staff. The owner is helpful. Good quality food served here. Walking distance from the main market. Peaceful sleep away from the hustle bustle. I highly recommend the Katra Retreat Hotel to everyone.

we have visited Katra retreat on 28 of February 2025 we visited Maa vaishno Devi Mandir during the visit we higher auto rickshaw at midnight and we lost our baggage specially medicines of child in that auto rickshaw, manager was not at all helpful we called up owner 2 but they were travelling to Delhi for some personal work do. it was Sunday we again took follow on Monday Tuesday and me other days to just get back the auto rickshaw number which was covered in CCTV camera recorded. this was not expected such a type of service, forget about all this things on human values we should get medicine to my child . auto rickshaw union was helpful, lost and found team from trust was helpful

My stay at Hotel Katra Retreat was wonderful. The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and always eager to help, making the experience even better. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again!

We are a group of 30 members we book hotel katra retreat in katra. Our host Mr. Sourav Gupta the owner of the hotel helped us a lot during our stay. He arranges good quality food and transportation for us at very nominal charges. All rooms are neat and clean washroom is clean and hygienic. Food is tasty. The manager is very supportive. After being satisfied with the services we booked a trip to Kashmir from Mr. Sourav Gupta. Neat and clean vehicle provided by him. He takes daily follow up and sends sightseeing plans. We didnt face any inconvenience any problems during our trip to katra and kashmir. We all are satisfied with the services of Sourav Gupta and we highly recommend katra retreat and Sourav Gupta to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at the inn. The rooms are spacious and airy and bathrooms are nice. We had 2 meals and both were hearty and warm. Special thanks to the staff who were very very warm and accommodating. They guided us in planning our darshan Yatra , cab booking and local shopping. Looking forward to coming here again.
