Radisson Blu Hotel, Jammu

I have stayed at Radisson Blu whenever i travel with my team to Jammu for business. And the current trip deserves a special mention as the staff went out of their way to give us a comfortable stay, despite the city facing shortages due to a situation. Everyone at the hotel, especially managers Ashish Tiwari and Ashutosh were so kind to accomodate our special requirements. Their hospitality is a class apart.|Also, ten on ten for their swimming pool and spa, which is clean and really well-maintained. The beds are super comfortable with just the perfect mattresses for sore backs after long hours on the road! |Thank you, team Radisson :)

They have spacious rooms and offer a variety of snacks in the minibar. Bathroom is immaculate and has an extensive kit provided for guests. We visited during the time when Jammu was under high alert due to multiple drone strikes by Pakistan. The hotel staff made sure we were safe and locked down the hotel in the night. We were later upgraded to a bigger room so all guests could be on one floor for easy evacuation in case of any escalation. They even called each room to confirm if they need any food or help before they close the kitchen for the night due to the situation.

We recently stayed at the hotel and had a wonderful stay, befitting the brand Raddison stands for. The rooms are luxuriously equipped for comfort. The dinner buffet as well as the breakfast spread was simply wonderful, with the spread curated for all palates. A special word of appreciation for Jyoti, Rakesh and Dhrub. As a host, Jyoti was welcoming with a smile, ready to assist with professionalism, efficiency and courtesy. So was the case with Rakesh and Dhrub, who served with a warm smile and efficiency. It's people like these that make a brand, and give you your money's worth.

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. 1.The swimming pool was inaccessible, which was not communicated in advance. 2. We booked a stay with breakfast included, but due to a 'technical issue' with the vouchers, we were denied breakfast--without any proper resolution from the staff. 3.Additionally, when I was feeling unwell, we requested medicine from the reception, but they simply forgot and dismissed it with a casual 'sorry.' 4. Mosquitos in room 5. Lights were flickering. 6. Tv not working. 7. Reception answers the call on 2-3 attempts. Overall, the service was extremely poor, and the staff lacked accountability. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone." 0 star

Horrible stay !!! There were flowers kept on the floor on which I slipped. This shows that the cleaners weren't doing their job properly, and it also reflects that they are not scared of the management that would have pulled them up for not doing that job and resulting in a guest falling and injuring himself. The most horrible part is that they did not have first aid, and when I insisted they said they will get it from outside and while checking out, they charge me for a first aid service, which is such a basic thing to keep in their hotel. Even a basic bus services keep first aid handy and a reputed hotel charged me for it. This was a very petty move and I will never ever visit any Radisson for that matter. It was only nice of me that I didn't see the hotel for their negligence, staff is rude, and the food is very average.

I actually didn't wanted to rate them at all. They shouldn't be caller Radisson. Their customer service is really bad. Nothing is convenient at this place. Firstly the reception does not have certain authority (usually good hotel brands do) and the Manager of the shift was good at talking or accommodating. For every value added service you have to wait a lot like for a Shuttle. Forget about the Make up services, you need many days in advance to book them. Well my experience has not been good at all.

Food and service are really amazing. Taste was great. Dinner buffet was served on table letting us taste all the starters and without us leaving the table.Manpreet was excellent in Breakfast service.
