OYO 4399 Hotel Satyam Lodge

Due to some issues with our hotel booking we were in search for an average hotel for one day stay and we found this lodge. When compared to other average hotels this was the best one. The rooms were spacious and clean, though the bathrooms were clean but could be made better. Room service was quick, food was good. In such a budget it was more than expected and being my first time staying in a lodge I was satisfied. Valuable stay in low budget. The best wifi network we received was in this lodge in our entire Jammu and Kashmir trip. Faced no electricity issues.

I booked this hotel (lodge) through MMT (make my trip) and was quite expensive too. I paid this much due to the fact that I wanted to have good quality sleep post my full family Vaishno Devi darshan, needless to say that is always tiring. In stead of booking return journey from Jammu I decided to stay only because I wanted to have a nice hotel experience as desired and expected by my kids in the family too. ||||This became more important due to the fact that we checked out from a very nice hotel in Katra to spend better time in Jammu as I had paid more and was expecting more.||||When I came into the room, I could notice the following things:||||1. Rooms were not ready.||2. General white tiles which were not looking good at all. with appx 2k a night in Jammu, a wooden flooring or carpet was certainly expected.||3. Linens were sub-standard.||4. Cleanliness 5 out of 10.||5. The cigarette smell from the room could not go even with the use of room freshner.||6. Worst thing was the food quality. The food quality was worse than a street food and definitely not cheap.||7. When I checked out, the staff members came to me asking for something which I did not get. I however, paid them tip as well.||||The only good thing about this hotel was its nearness from the railway station.

Stayed here for 3 night it was basically to relax after our hectic hike, room is clean and air conditioned, but not sound proof. Its close to the railway staff hence you will hear train signals and engine noise even at night. nothing is close to the location. Not even a general store. No elevator, you have to walk which ever floor you are on. Bathroom is not clean need much more attention. No callign facility, infact when asked in the evening time as it wasnt safe to go out around 9 pm he screamed at me saying not possible, very unprofessional ! however one thing I would recommend about the place is good food. Whatever we ate at the hotel was good ! since we didnt go out much we ate all our meals at the hotel itself. On the last day during departure their credit card machine didnt work, they were hesitant to take the old indian rupee note however since they had internet issue, the rude reception man called the owner and they then agreed to receive the payment through online transaction. which I was very appreciative of as we were running late to catch our flight. Taxi to airport cost us INR 500 each which was aranged by the hotel.

Satyam lodge has a great location.. IT IS walkable from the railway terminal , fresh and green surroundings...Jammu's prime corporate business distt ( Bahu plaza,Gandhi Nagar,. etc) are close by ... the hotel has a modern structure with most modcons in place.. Rooms are ok with sanitised washrooms: which require some upgrading now.. particularly the quality of linen and toiletries. The only minus point appeared to be lack of proper hospitality training among the front desk reception, stewards and support staff.. .ROOM SERVICE is a tad slow and menu prices on higher side; considering it is just a mid segment outfit .

Stayed there 3/4 times and by far the best budget hotel in jammu for an overnight or official stay. It is very near to Railway station (less than 1 km) and Bahu plaza (shopping centre in jammu). Rooms are clean and neat, food is decent too.

Just visited hotel for one night.Before 2year hotel was started or renovated so at that time experience was good but these time faced problem of termites. ||Hotel need full pestcontrol coz bathroom and bedroom is badly affected. Bathroom shower also gets effects with termites.||Overall average hotel only benefit is airport and station is nereby.||

I took 3 rooms for one night, three families, this was transit point only. Interior is old, staff is OK, breakfast was OK, location is very close to railway station. OK for short stay only, staff will give everything u need, toilet accessories very very basic

Hotel Satyam is one the best and budgeted hotel in jammu city. Hotel is located near to jammu railway station .best place to check in for tourists coming outside from jammu easily approachable roads near to main market of gandhi nagar
