Hotel Raghunath

Hotel is in a central location for shopping and religious places. Inside building is nice and grand. No elevator but the staff will take luggage. I arrived about 1.30pm and the staff came out to find me because I was lost. Receptionist very professional. Water is controlled by reception so you have to ask as far as I am aware for warm water after morning times. Nice natural light and window. Unfortunately my departure was not great truthfully. I left about 6.30am and the guy with rimless glasses was insistent on carrying my light luggage and offered to call auto for me outside. I voluntarily gave him a decent tip for what he did which was not a lot at all. Then he insisted I should give him even more because he said he shared it with the receptionist guy. I wasn't happy at all and gave him a small amount which I regretted since neither he did a lot, nor got a particularly good auto price for me (I was ok with it since it was morning and I don't know the local prices) and the receptionist did nothing at all. I don't know if the receptionist was aware but the review is so management are aware of what this guy does!

Reply back to the owner's reply: First of all to the reader this is not the uncle sitting on the reception who might wrote the underrated reply to an honest review, because while staying he too saw his manager mishaving with us in the morning day light & uncle consoled us that please ignore his behavior since he is kind & know how to run a hotel. Secondly do your homework we'll before spitting out over Google. This was my first ever stay in this hotel otherwise looking into the behavior no one will comes second time & if your think this is my second visit kindly attach the hotel booking receipt of my first stay as you told a week ago... Another lie I stayed there for 2days in 2rooms not 3, my rooms where on first floor not ground, didn't rebook as it was throught a travel agency.. "BHAI KUCH TO SACH LIKH LETA YA BS REPLY KRNA H GOOGLE REVIEW PR TO INSULT KRNE KO KUCH BHI BOLDO". Therefore who so ever you are, kindly talk respectfully, do your home work before hand & accept the flaws in you & your management . I didn't mention any waiter or labour were shouting & insulting us, only 1 receptionist & a manager. JFYI we tipped the waiter & helper a good amount that they were very informative & helpful comparing to the managers. Btw Pahalgam attack date was 22 April & we too checked in the hotel at 22. Kuch to sochke sach likhte My review: In the critical situation of pahalgam attack in pahalgam, when we haven't any choice to book this jammu hotel in higher charges n booking overload in jammu, the manage Mr. Ankit along with another manager, of this hotel has stated me at 11pm night- " Rehna ho to raho varna apna dekhlo" I was with my baby n husband. The worst experience of hospitality I had ever experienced in life that too in this situation. The rooms where not having table to keep things out of luggage. Even though we were in tough situation due to the news but the behavior of the managerial level staff where worst than anywhere. The fancy photo over Google are photoshop, they are just a cheap oyorooms. Despite of calming us they were getting frustrated & shouted over the guests stayed as if they were doing some sort of charity on us.

Hotel rooms , service and food is nice but we have bad experience from management we booked quad sharing 2 rooms because in our group total 7 adults and 3 children already we share all details with hotel and we advance booked hotel on call but when we reached hotel at night they offer one quad sharing room (2 double bed) and one room with 1 single bed and 1 double bed we discussed with him about that then he say in this room 1 sofa cum bed is available so it is quad sharing room as discussed.. we demand for two double bed but he refused and say "if you don't want to stay then go and check other hotels in market" such a rude behaviour he don't think before saying this when we already pay booking amount for quad sharing room ("2 double bed")and we have 3 children with us but they behave rudely with us..all services and food is nice but this experience is spoiling hotels reputation .

Hotel rqghunatg and owner ankit gupta is really helpful. Guided us well and rooms given were neat and clean, hygienic. Rate charged was also genuine as lovsted in main market

I stayed there for just a night. Room service was excellent and room was spacious and clean. Food was delicious. Staff was cooperative. Location was not good.

The rooms were a bit old and the mattress was a trouble maker The hard to sleep pillow is another issue that is too slim and not comfortable at all The bathroom has a geyser but no hot water available during my visit . The location is perfectly next to Raghunath temple which is hardly 150 MTRS walking all the market place is nearby.

Very rude behaviour with customer. Hot water not coming continuously. Breakfast and dinner not served as per commitment. Not ready to talk even , disconnected phone twice.
