Was there and had a great time the place is really nice and the people are so sweet and loving. The hospitality was amazing Had a great experience there and the food was really delicious and hygienic The uncle and aunty was so sweet over there it literally felt like home over there and the khatirdari they did was superb. I wasn't well and the owner akbar bhai was so sweet to get medicines and they took care of everything we needed lovely place must go

This is our first trip to Kashmir and my first experience at a homestay. I had a lot of thoughts about choosing a homestay over hotels. But I'm really happy that I decided to go with this homestay. The host(Akbar bhai) and his family were so welcoming from the day we reached and checked with us everyday on what we would like to have for dinner and sat with us till we had our food. Had so much fun with his kids in the evening which made us feel like home.. I would really recommend this place if you love to have a vacation stay at a home like environment. Of course the rooms were clean and had wifi, hot water, AC heater facility, inverter for power backup. We felt comfortable to ask for anything we need (hot drinking water,tea or coffee,early breakfast or anything...)

If you're looking for a homestay with a homely feel this is the best place: I came to know about this homestay through Yawer.. Initially he mentioned twice that it is a homestay and not hotel or resort.. But to my surprise this was way better than hotel or resort.. They welcomed us and made us feel comfortable.. Our bedroom was enough for two with attached bathroom. They provided us with homemade breakfast and dinner. The food was great.. While you eat food from hotel you can feel the difference of home food.. It was way better, dinner was served with different type of foods.. They served us all kinda Kashmiri style curry and even bought some dish from Hotel to make sure you get the taste of everything.. I loved their Mutton RoganJosh, Chicken curry and Firni... Another best thing is the owner Akbar has 3 kids.. They were amazing and we spent our evenings playing cricket, ludo etc... They were very attached and interactive... So we were never bored.. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would like to thank Akbar brother for the hospitality..

If you wana visit kashmir & u wana feel like you are staying in your own home..this is a perfect place for you ..it is located near the highway from where every tourist place is easy to go through without any traffic .. So don't wait .... explore this in your life..

We visited Kashmir in May/June 2024 through Sheela Tours and travels - prop. Akbar Dar and had an experience to cherish for a lifetime. Akbar Bhai planned the entire trip for 8 days and offered us a Homestay at his own home. His House is a well designed house with clean washrooms, fully carpeted, with wooden decor, hot water facility, 24 hour power supply (with invertors) and surrounded by greenery. Also had an open gallery for morning breakfast and sun bathing. We were served authentic Kashmiri food in the Dining Hall which is huge enough to accommodate over 200 people. Akbar Bhai and his family are very sweet people. They always accompanied us for food, made us feel at home and took good care of us even when one of us fell sick. The Driver was closely associated to Akbar Bhai and was very down to earth, knowledgeable and have the attitude of putting customer satisfaction and safety first. Akbar Bhai and his team always guide the customers to good and reasonable places to shop and eat. In 2019 we visited Leh Ladakh with Akbar Bhai as our Tour operator and had a beautiful experience so Sheela Tours and travels was our natural choice for Kashmir. Sheela Tours and travels is very safe for female, solo, young travelers who want to experience Kashmir- which is truly Heaven on Earth.

Excellent hospitality, fantastic food and gives true Kashmir cultural vibes. The host is very humble and accommodating, highly recommended staying here.

Its a perfect cosy place to stay at Sirnagar. The owners are very friendly.Home cooked foods are available with both veg and non veg options. Rooms are clean and not to worry about ur belongings. It was my first time at Kashmir... I enjoyed it a lot.
