Hotel Pine Palace Platinum Gulmarg

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was quite small for the price of 12,000 per night, which felt a bit overpriced. However, the hospitality of the manager and staff was excellent--they were very humble and welcoming. One thing to note is that the centralized heating system turns off at 11:30 PM and resumes around 6:30-7:00 AM. Despite this, the room remained warm, and they also provide a small electric heater and an electric kettle, which was helpful. Breakfast options were quite limited, and the overall taste of the food was just average. However, the Kashmiri Kahwa served upon arrival was a lovely touch and truly delightful. On the positive side, the view from the room was beautiful, and the location is convenient--the Gondola ride is just a 5-7 minute walk away. While there were some drawbacks, the hospitality, location, and scenic views were definite highlights. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but I'd hope for better room sizes and a more varied breakfast selection.

Location, food & staff are good. Heating system is very bad, it feels very hot inside the room. Hotel persons should maintain temperature wisely. Even in -2 degree you will feel hot inside.

I recently stayed at Pine Place Platinum Gulmarg on 24.01.2025 of stay, and I regret to say that my experience was extremely disappointing. From the start, the services were far below expectations. The room was not properly cleaned, basic amenities were missing, and the staff was unresponsive to repeated requests. The overall management seemed disorganized, making our stay stressful and unpleasant. Adding to this, the final bill was significantly higher than the amount agreed upon during the booking. As per the deal, we were supposed to pay 18000, but we were charged 22500/without any prior explanation or justification. This lack of transparency and fairness is unacceptable. I had hoped for a comfortable and hassle-free stay, but the poor service and the billing issue have left me deeply disappointed. We had a great time in Pine Palace platinum Gulmarg The rooms were clean and comfortable The staff were very polite and served us well Specially Owais who served us with so much of warmth Owais was one of the reason we enjoyed our stay Owais took good care of us

Came with my family. 14 of us. 7 rooms. TERRIBLE experience. 1. You told my sister who was unwell to pack and move to another hotel. 2. Since we don't want to move to another hotel, you quietly went to my nephew room telling them to move. 3. You lied said it my agent mistake. Said we only book 1 night. 4. It all your reservation agent team mistake. You guys accepted some VIP paying you double.so you wanted to kick us out. Your team screw up! 5. You dare to use religion when we won't move. How dare you! You guys are rude and greedy. All for money. We could hear you guys arguing. We could here you telling another guest to move. Poor them. All foreigners, please Do Not stay here. Unless you wanna be kick out whenever the hotel receives better offer. Terrible Terrible Terrible

Absolutely loved our stay at the pine palace platnium The hotel is nestled near the Gondola ride and has a picturesque lawn at the front. Staff service was very good and the rooms are spacious with wonderful views. Will definitely recommend for anyone planning a stay in Gulmarg.

Very good location. But in general Kashmiris are very nice people but expect tips irrespective of the quality of service provided. So if you plan for a Kashmir trip please have a separate budget for that.
