I recently had the pleasure of staying at D' SHIEKH'S RESORT in Gurez, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff is incredibly well-trained and exudes a warm, welcoming attitude that instantly makes you feel at home. We ended up extending our stay by an extra day due to heavy snowfall that closed the roads, and I'm so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of local dishes that truly showcased the flavors of the region. Each meal felt like a special occasion. What really stood out to me was the kindness of the owner. When our cab driver fell ill, he went above and beyond by taking us to the hospital and staying with us until our driver was taken care of. It's rare to find such genuine care and concern in the hospitality industry, and it made our stay even more memorable. If you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy breathtaking views, along with exceptional service, I highly recommend D' SHIEKH'S RESORT. It's a must-stay destination that I can't wait to return to!

The staffs are very courteous specially Mr. Azhar Wani. He has taken good care of us during our stay. The food he served was amazing and the facilities he provided was outstanding. Apart from him all the working at the hotel are very good.

The resort is located in a beautiful valley and the service is really nice and good. Very helpful staffs and arranged bonfire for us on our request. Really enjoyed our stay.

I had booked this stay and because of the recent unrest I couldn't visit. The property owner was kind enough to refund my entire amount without even thinking twice. I think that speaks a lot about the nature of the people in Kashmir and this property. Will definitely visit soon.

We stayed at D SHIEKH'S resort for 2 nights & 3 days. I never felt so close to nature before staying here. With the Kishenganga river just flowing across the hotel, the views are breathtaking. Though the rooms are a bit smaller, the same is compensated by the exceptional service & delicious food. There's uninterrupted flow of hot water & Wi-Fi works great. The hosts, both Mr. Imtiyaz & Mr. Tanveer are true gentlemen & made us feel at home. Mr. Imtiyaz was constantly in touch with us throughout our stay & even arranged vehicle for the sightseeing.|Thanks D SHIEKH'S for the hospitality & making our stay memorable. We shall surely check back for our next visit.

Azhar wani was ready to help anytime and everytime, very courteous and soft spoken. Hotel was overall very good and would recommend to come to Gurez and stay here to feel the hospitality
