Our recent trip to Kashmir led us to the breathtakingly beautiful and offbeat valley of Gurez, and staying at AJ Resort made the experience even more unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredible warmth and hospitality by Ajaz bhai, the heart and soul of the place. Despite the biting cold, Ajaz bhai made sure we were always warm and comfortable. The food he served was absolutely delicious -- every meal felt like a lovingly prepared home-cooked feast. Whether it was a hot cup of tea or a full traditional spread, everything tasted amazing and came with his infectious smile. The rooms were cozy, clean, and offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains. What stood out the most was how personally invested Ajaz bhai was in making sure we had a memorable stay -- always checking in on us, sharing stories, and giving us local tips to truly experience Gurez. AJ Resort isn't just a place to stay; it's a home away from home, made special by the warmth of its people. If you're visiting Gurez, staying here is an absolute must. The resort is very good as per it location and price. The owner is very polite and humble with their guests. Their rooms are neat and clean. The location is also very good, easy accessibility for everything. Must recommend visiting Aj resorts, Their service is the best in Gurez valley. Spent 2 nights in AJ resorts Dawar Gurez very recently. It was really a mind-blowing experience with the AJ resorts. The food is awesome and the rooms are very neat and clean. The owner of this property namely Ajaz bhai is really a great person with kind heart. Sameer bhai the care taker of the property is also an awesome guy. They also provided the room accommodation to the driver. Such a kind gesture.

We were four friends travelling to Gurez and decided to stay at AJ Resort, Dawar. The host, Mr Ajaz is extremely kind and helpful. We spent 2 nights in this peaceful hotel. They have 4 rooms with sufficient blankets and attached washrooms with geyser.

4 of us stayed here for 3 days in June, 2024. It's location is beautiful with mountains on one side and Kishanganga river on other. Duo of Ajaz and Sameer is always willing to help you with enthusiasm. They being locals you get reliable info and advise. They ask your preference for breakfast and dinner and serve tasty food accordingly. Rooms need to be maintained properly but then these are constraints of its location in remote area and I am sure there will be desired improvement very soon. All of us enjoyed our stay immensely. Service was really good. Ajaz took care of us really well. Helped us on many occasions. He got us home-made food which was really delicious. Location is nearby river and the market. Gurez is really beautiful.

Very good stay for me, we stay three night,we found spacious rooms, good location, affordable price,situated on bank of kishanganga River, food was delicious, i think this stay is one of best stays at Gurez valley & whole kashmir trip Owner Mr. Ejaz is very cooperative person . Ehaz bhai become a wonderful host. I looked the property directly by phone, it may cheaper than online.

AJ resort, Very nice place to stay, Home away the home environment. Aijas bhai and team has taken care of ever our needs. Neat and clean rooms, Tasty Veg food. Near the kishanganga river. They also have out side tent option.
