Wildflower Hall, An Oberoi Resort, Shimla

From the moment I arrived, this hotel felt like a world of its own--peaceful, secluded, and rich in heritage. Set amidst expansive grounds, it offers plenty of space to walk, reflect, and simply breathe. Every corner of the property tells a story, beautifully preserved yet thoughtfully modernized for comfort. The food was consistently excellent, with a variety of options that celebrated local flavors without compromising on sophistication. Every meal felt like it was prepared with care. What truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff was warm, attentive, and proactive without ever being intrusive. Every request was handled with grace and efficiency, making the entire experience feel effortless.

A beautiful property in beautiful grounds with beautiful views. We spent four days here and every day was a delight. The rooms are lovely, the food is excellent and the service is faultless. This property strives for excellence at every level, and achieves it. Every single member of staff is trained to an exceptional level, and no matter who you interact with from the restaurant, to housekeeping to the front desk, they all deliver genuinely helpful, caring and faultless service. There is a high management presence at the front of house, and having had the chance to interact with both the GM and Front Office Manger (Messrs Mukhija and Srivstava) during our stay, it is very clear that this culture of customer serice is role modelled from senior leaders, and results in a whole team that delivers with excellence. A rare find and a wonderful experience.

The Hotel is a lovely property nestled in the Himalayas. It excudes an old age charm. One feels transported to a different time altogether. The service and hospitality is another level. Unmatched by any other luxury hotel in India. The staff at this hotel is the most warm courteous and hospitable. They happily go out of the way to make your stay memorable and pleasant. Hellacious ||It was indeed best experience. Everything was beyond perfect. The location is just outstanding. It is the best resort in Shimla and Kufri. It's always special to visit any Oberoi hotel because all the team members contribute to the most for the lovely stay and for making me feel home . ||||Wildflower did same! ||||Thanks to wonderful person and Gm Sunit Makhija for and outstanding hospitality and warmest care . Staying at Wildflower Hall in Shimla was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the peaceful surroundings set the tone for a truly special getaway. The property is a perfect blend of heritage charm and luxury, but what made our stay truly exceptional was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Shatrughan and Monika kept us thoroughly entertained with thoughtfully planned activities throughout the property, including a beautiful hike that showcased the natural beauty of the area. One of the absolute highlights was the private dining experience curated by Suman--without a doubt, one of the best dinners we've ever had, and we've been fortunate to travel extensively across the globe. The attention to detail, the personalized service, and the exclusivity of the resort are what set Wildflower Hall apart. It's a peaceful, luxurious retreat that we'll continue to return to in the future.

Sadly we just had lunch here during an excursion from the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla. Not just lunch - an EXPERIENCE. The food was very good, yes, but the setting on the terrace overlooking the pine-clad hills, under colourfulbRajasthani parasols, with equally colourful ly clad waiters - it was all unforgettable. Followed by a brief guided tour of the opulent interior. So recommended.

We had a fantastic stay for 3-4 days last week at the resort.| We would like to make a special mention for your great Chef-- Rajat. Our daughter who is a celiac and gluten intolerant was looked after extremely well by Rajat. She stayed well and had no problems with cross contamination -- all thanks to Rajat who took personal care to make sure that her food was served in a v safe manner. He is a very dedicated , knowledgable, sincere and pleasant chef. He deserves to go really high up in the Oberoi Hotel organisation as he truly is remarkable in his skills. We are v grateful to him for his overall sincerity and capability.| The rest of the entire staff was v polite, helpful-- always serving with a ready smile and also v caring. Kudo's to Oberoi !!!| A highly recommended resort for people who can afford it!!!!
