WelcomHeritage Elysium Resort & Spa

I visited this hotel with my family in May 2025. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the food. But what made the trip special was the staff -- they were so friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Bhushan, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

I recently had a memorable vacation in Shimla and welcoming us at Welcomheritage Elysium Shimla will stay in our memories. The staff were courteous, welcoming, and the check-in was hassle free . Our room was clean, spacious, and most importantly had beautiful views of the valley and mountains. The breakfast spread blends and includes local flavors with international options. It was good to see Saurabh welcoming us for breakfast and greeting us goodnight after dinner. The captains tavern staff were very courteous and attended to our asks very politely and with a smile. The room temperature was centrally controlled and there is no flexibility to adjust in the room. Coming from west and summer just begun in Shimla, we felt the room very hot and we had to open the windows throughout our stay. One thing that I recommend is to provide an option to the guest to adjust room temperature. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience--I highly recommend it

Our stay at Welcomhotel Elysium by ITC Hotels, Shimla was nothing short of exceptional. Perched on a quiet hilltop, the hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and pine forests, making it an ideal place to unwind in luxury.||||The rooms were elegantly designed, spacious, and equipped with all modern amenities. We especially loved the cozy balcony space and the peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. The hospitality was top-notch--every staff member was warm, professional, and eager to make our stay special.||||The food was a highlight--the in-house restaurant served a wide variety of cuisines, and the local Himachali dishes were a treat. As soon as we arrived we were given a warm welcome with great drinks. After that we had lunch at the restaurant, Saurabh took care of us and was very attentive. The service was great and the food was also super duper the executive chef made very tasty dishes for us. The room and view was also great.

This is a modern hotel situated 4.5KM away from The Mall. This means that it is quieter than some other hotels in the area but you'll nee at taxi to get back into Shimla centre (it's no good trying to walk as the roads are narrow and there aren't any pavements). The hotel also stands just behind a recycling centre.|The outlook from the rooms isn't that wonderful either but if you head for the 'greenhouse' on the top floor you get a better view.||Whilst it may not be perfect, from a location point of view, there are some nice touches; they give each visitor a scarf and some sweets upon arrival, and the service and food in the restaurant is VERY good.||ROOM: Large room with large double bed, a double level safe, free toiletries, and a hair dryer. (There were a couple of niggles; the kettle didn't turn off and the shower had a mind of its own i.e. it doesn't matter which way you turn the control the water is intermittently cold.)|FOOD: The food was really good but the tea/coffee was only soso. The best option that we found was to order STRONG COFFEE with separate milk.|STAFF: The staff were all very helpful and friendly.||In conclusion the hotel was pretty good as long as you don't mind being away from the action.

The whole staff was excellent especially F&B *Anil Saurbh chef Dev. The food was also really awesome. I enjoyed a lot.It was my best experience in shimla so far. The hygiene was also well maintained and clean. The rooms was also very clean and beautiful

This was our first visit to Shimla and glad we stayed at Elysium. The front desk, room service, dinning and housekeeping, all services were super amazing. Friendly staff and great food. Room service is super quick too. We would definitely return to Elysium.
