This has been the most amazing experience. We literally changed the hotel to come to this property. I am not being paid for thus but my suggestion to all who come to shimla. Do not go with rating but I have been here . This property is awsome. I am thankful to Ms reetu. Ms shailja and Ms Shewta to make our stay amazing. Luxurious place to enjoy a good holiday. Stayed for two days. Rooms were spacious. Every amenity perfectly placed. Easy and smooth check in and check out. Housekeeping, reception, room service and security all excellent in their service. Inayssa restaurant serves delicious food. Each bite is a delight. Great Stay, But Slightly Overpriced I stayed at this hotel with my family during our trip to Shimla. The property was really nice--clean, peaceful, and surrounded by a calm atmosphere that added to the hill station charm. The staff was extremely polite and friendly, which made our stay even more pleasant. However, considering the price, it felt a bit costly. That might be due to the typical hill station pricing, but still worth noting. One suggestion to the management: it would be great if the staff clearly informed guests at check-in about what facilities are included and which ones come with an extra charge. A quick briefing would avoid confusion later. Overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our time there!

Excellent! Stayed in deluxe double room: it was comfy, clean, calm, everything well working. Good towels provided as well. Wide choice for buffet breakfast. Finally, very professional staff making everything smooth. Thank you, we will come back : )

I had the misfortune of staying at Royal Retreat, Shimla(Stay date: 29th March till 31st March 2025) and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From abysmal service to utterly unacceptable room conditions, this establishment fails on every level.||The room service was shockingly poor. Simple requests, such as water or towels, required multiple calls - often five or more - and excessive waiting times. It felt like pulling teeth to get basic necessities.||The washroom was another major issue. A persistent, foul odor permeated the space, making it unpleasant to use. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority.||Perhaps the most egregious issue was the extra bed we requested. What we received was a broken, dilapidated excuse for a bed. The center was completely collapsed, resulting in a night of excruciating back pain. It's appalling that a hotel would provide such a substandard piece of furniture to paying guests.||While the staff did acknowledge our complaints, their words were empty. There was absolutely no effort to rectify the problems. It felt as though they were merely paying lip service to our concerns, with no intention of taking action.||I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. You will be deeply disappointed.
