Hotel Woodland

Original Post - 2016 , Edited 2024 This hotel can be seen as a better option for staying in a budget hotel. To reach here, there is a path next to the church which takes you to the hotel in just 5 minutes, the surrounding environment is very calm and relaxing. The staff and service is good. You will get a good room for 1400 or 1600. The morning coffee here is very good. If you stay here, then close your door and sleep by 11:00 am or if you are awake then be careful because in the morning monkeys try to snatch the food kept in the room. Everything else here is good, you can stay here alone, with friends, as a couple. I am sharing the view outside the hotel room and some pictures of the hotel room.

Rooms were like for 1000 rupees but they charged us 3800 per night that wasn't worth off. Average hotel not that good and the worst part is the location you have walk more 100 stairs to get in hotel. This hotel is not for old people and people with knee pains

Hotel is nearby Mall road, The Ridge and Lakkar bazar within walking distance. I stayed for 3 nights, hotel service is very good and Mr Suresh was very helpful with guiding the location and also they provide cab service at cheapest price to travel nearby places like Shimla, chail and narkanda etc. Food was really good, overall it was good experience. Only issue I faced is hotel is in little highest top so you have to climb lots of stairs.

Located just 10 Mins walk from The Ridge & Mall road budget hotel, wich serves only vegetarian meals, located in the heart of Shimla, this hotel serves to all the categories of tourists, families, solo traveller with 18 Rooms its good for groups for long stay with meals.

Really good experience.. Almost everything was good with this property. Clean rooms, affordable price, good behaviour or staff. Nice view from room. Fast response in case you call them for any need. Its not five star but its like home... I felt good when i was there .. you can talk freely with staff as well they are friendly... Anyone can go for it ...

So the hotel is great staff is very humble and friendly. They follow every order and services are excellent. The only thing which is very bad is the hotel location it's the topmost hotel in shimla so you have to walk a lot around 200 steps and all the way up to mountain. It's extremely annoying to reach there with luggage in your hands.

Fake photo. No Taxi available to the Hotel Road. Very High altitude from road. Atlist 200 Big big foot steps. Very dirty & small Room. Bathroom is also dirty. No ventilation. We left this Hotel at 10.00pm in night because of this. Not recommended for family. 0 Stars. Please avoid this Hotel.

guys this is best hotel so far in shimla, we went a hotel called woodland that was a nice place, we spent a hole night that was amazing, we saw so many views from windows and it was spelinded,later on we went to mall road we had fun it was amazing the roads wear very clean very neat that was specticular. Later on we went to rooms we ask for a favour and we ask for a pratha at 2.o clocks they say no and later on realised this is not a time we are ask for a pratha. Then after few hour my wife ask for partha and a coffee's and the are coffee was really good up to the mark. later on we are check out at 12 p.m they didn't knock us we are the once we went there for the check out they didn't say anything, they didn't ask for the leave the hotel(room).We were very amazed that they are humbled enough they didn't talked about it. It was a very nice journey Shimla's ever met was the finest and the clean city ever.
