Hotel Ganga

Rooms are very clean & spacious. Wonderful view from the room. The bathroom is also neat and clean. Geyser is available. Lift is there. Food quality is good but costly. To reach the mall road from the hotel is very tough for old age people. We stay here only one day. Check in and check out time 12.00 PM

I recently stayed and was deeply disappointed by the state of the accommodations. Upon entering the room, there was unpleasant odour, indicating a lack of proper cleaning. The walls appeared to have spit marks. The bathroom was smelling like hell that made it nearly unusable. Even after using the room fresher the smell didn't go. I reported these issues to the front desk, but unfortunately, no action was taken during my stay and told to stay in the same room .

Such a bad experience I have ever had with Hotel Ganga. The day we checked in the hotel, the room was not ready therefore they asked me to wait till the room is ready. Finally after 1hour I got my room with dirty linen which had damp smells and a demo TV without sound. I have called several times to reception but nobody come and checked. As I booked a Dlx room I was expecting a basic amenities like bottle of water , body wash and shampoo instead they provide a cheap non branded soap bar. During checkout I have asked to reception to provide a bellboy who can assist my luggage to put into my cab but he said he is busy with serving breakfast . Anyways, this was my first and last visit to Hotel Ganga Shimla and I'll not suggest to anyone. Thank you.

Warning Never take hotel or taxi packages. They are cheat, first of all their rooms are like hunted and too smelly also they forced us to take taxi from them and end of the trip they increased the tariff. Also they have tie-up with all the activities available in Shimla, Kullu and Manali, once we arrived there they have given me a quotation which was 150% higher than outside, once we said we will do the activities some other place, the driver suddenly got angry and forced us to do the activities from there.

I had an awesome experience staying at Ganga. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They are doing a great job.

Travel from 29th Nov to 1st Dec. 4 Adult, 1 Infant. Experience is horrible, this hotel is not for family. Even room service boy said why did younchoose this hotel for family and children. I've traveled with my family and one of my friends family. Washroom not cleaned, room was not cleaned. Even other rooms which they showed us that was fully open whole night, as well as no security. We have found c****m inside empty Britannia biscuit packet in floor, s***m in washroom and so many things, my recommendation is don't go the 'Hotel Ganga'. This location is prime but the service, quality nothing at all good.

Very nice family stay at Hotel Ganga Shimla. Room decoration , cleanliness very good. Location from Mall is 5 minutes walking distance.Thanks to staff for good hospitality.Vwe shall visit again.

Property is too old , all room toilet not clean paint on all wall also faid off, toilet not clean, almira lock damage, door cartoons smell out , this hotel not for family or couple, not in 3 star type
