Ashiana clarks inn, Shimla

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ashiana for a 3-day, 2-night visit, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Excellent service. Very prompt, especially for mountains. Food is average, just edible, but I dont expect much from mountain hotel food. They can work on their breakfast though, considering it is cooked daily. View from restaurant is beautiful. Rooms are spacious with all the amenities.

My stay here was very relaxing. The room had a very nice view of the hills. The hotel is in the vicinity of the lift for mall road. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of north and south indian cuisines. Room amenities and service was superb.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, rooms are neat and clean, food is excellent, it is near to mall road and centrally located. It has a big parking area. Gm.Harish and his team is very cooperative. I highly recommend this place to all.

Rooms were excellent with continuous hot water flow in the room but the morning detal kits were not given. Food was also excellent.

Please stay AWAY from this nasty hotel. You might land up here thinking this is the Clarkes hotel but it some shady one star property called Ashiana Regency. They have created their website to mimic the actual Clarks Hotel which is on mall road. This hotel is FAR away from mall road. An easy 50 min walk. Don't believe what the staff tells you. We got here and got a shock. Also, please see attached photos and see for yourself how far away this hotel is from the lift and the mall road. I had even specifically mentioned to them while making the booking that I will have two senior citizens in my group who won't be able to walk too far and they still insisted and lied to me saying we are just 13-15 mins away from the lift and mall road. They also cheated me of my deposit which should have been returned to me when it was made clear that this hotel was not even in Shimla but in Chhota Shimla.
