Belvilla 3BHK Modern Villa with Mini Waterfall and Lawn

Well furnished villa with scenic Himalayas in the background. Perfect place for a family stay. The caretaker is good and provides quick service. There is a small river nearby. The locality is peaceful. The breakfast provided is tasty. Fresh fruits can be bought from nearby market. There is an artificial waterfall and a play pool in the villa which is fun to enjoy. Bonfire can be arranged in the evening. The rooms are tastefully furnished with all modern amenities. Must opt to stay here, if you don't mind staying at some distance from Dharmashala.

Gulleria villa disappointed me a lot. Our stay did not justify the reviews and the pictures on the listing. The property though built well, is not maintained at all. There was trash on multiple outside corners of the house. The kitchen was also not clean. The cookware and appliances were not maintained well and hence cooking was a bit difficult. The drawers, the spice containers in the drawers, kitchenware, fridge and appliances were all very dirty. The fridge was filthy to say the least. The meals they say you can order are prepared in the same kitchen and encroaches on your privacy so we decided to cook ourselves. Though the housekeeper Deepak who cleans and cooks was very helpful and got us groceries whenever we asked for them. There was dirt and dead flies on the floor even after the housekeeper said he has cleaned the house and the state of the floors remained more or less the same throughout our stay. The bedlinens were also gross and should be replaced. The towels though washed were a dirty white color. The wifi didn't work for the first 2 days of our stay so I couldn't do some of my office work that I had planned. The pool outside is missing a lot of tiles and instead has algae growing in it. I couldn't get myself to step in it. The photos suggest that the villa has privacy but it is located right on the main road and there is no boundary wall. So when you sit outside, everybody passing on the road gawks at you. There was no shampoo in the bathrooms when we arrived but it was provided in small packets when we requested it. This is also good 30 minute drive from Dharamshala and McloedGanj. Overall, it turned out to be not so pleasant. And I think it is highly overpriced for what it is.

The care takers are very very hospitable. We were here for my bachelors although we are all adults, we all know how a bachelor's party with childhood friends can be. Not once did they wince at us and infact helped us decide where to roam and all. The property in particular is very beautiful. Has ditch by the side where overflow frok the nearby stream gushes which makes for a lovely rushing water sound everytime you walk out of the property. Must try place if you enjoy being cared for whilst staying at a place where you wake up to a view of the mountains..

Without doubt one of the favorite villa I stayed during my time in dharamshala! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and The staff was extremely friendly and special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The second day we did a paragliding in billing which was guided mr vicky . I truly enjoyed walking there in the evening. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Awesome Experience!! Food: Delicious homely food (only vegetarian). Chef is really good. Location: Easily locatable from main road. Maintenance: Very Good. Bon fire and pool available. Scope for improvement: Speaker unavailability.

Absolutely loved staying here. Was planning to stay for just a day but when i woke up the next morning i just couldn't leave this place. It's so homely yet fabulous.The views, the amenities, the staff is really helpful. Do stay here if you are planning to come to Dharamshala.

It was an absolute pleasure living in this humungous and beautiful place. The Villa, view from the same and each and everything about this place is soo beautiful. I would suggest anyone coming here for vacation to check out this place. Deepakbhai and surekha who took care of smallest of our needs and their service was worth appreciating! All in all exotic place to live in and it was awesome experience to stay here !

Nice place to stay with a good view of Himalayas .A good pool with clean water.Food cooked by the cook there is economic and very tasty.A nice place to stay if you are looking for a luxury experience.
