Hotel Windsmoor National Parwanoo

Good hotel if you are on solo trip. If you want to save money then only you should book. It's not luxury hotel. But staff is very well behaved and eager to help. Place is safe, in prime location (there is government petrol pump at a distance of 100 mtrs from this hotel. From this pump you can get buses to Kalka, Chandigarh and even Simala, delhi).Hall stinks a lot. Pls work on cleaning

Stayed here in 1st week of Jan 2017 on a official visit. Shall quickly jot down some pros cons ||Pros |1. Hotel staff - behaviour is good and polite |2. Heater available inside room so it was like a gift in such a cold weather outside. |3. Food is good in quality and quantity |4. Atms of different bank are very very near by to the hotel ||Cons |1. Wifi connectivity needs to be improved so that it reaches well for the rooms which are at the end of the lobby |2. No jet spray in the washroom lacking modern day amenity|

We got late while going uphill to Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. I avoid driving in the night in unknown hilly terrain. We were three adults and a child of four years. Hospitality was good. Food was also of ok kind. We have retained the big size room suitable for a group like ours. Since, I have been used to high level of hygiene, the smell in the room was not desired. Even though, we do not have something to complain about as we chose the hotel not expecting a comfort of five star hotel. A good hotel for budget travelers. There was no such thing as breakfast spread, very little option were available.

We stopped over at this hotel on our way to Shimla. It's located conveniently on the main road. ||||The rooms were clean, though the bathrooms need work.||||But the highlights were the restaurant (food's great) and the friendly staff. ||||For a budget hotel, it exceeded expectations.

Good place to stay ; rooms are neat & clean ; rent for standard room is around 1300 rupees/ day. Standard room is big enough for 2 people. Food rate is very high. Its up to you if you want to eat here ; in my opinion go to Shelly restaurant which is nere by. Also go to Kassauli which is a tourist spot ; don't miss to go to kassauli & go in morning only not in night. Go to manki point;sunset point;gilbert house in kassauli.

Wanted to have a halt at the hotel to stay a night with family. Have booked a deluxe room with extra beds. I need to discuss multiple times to get extra bed prepared. Over night, got disturbed due to heavy traffic noise. Linens were not clean, bathroom was dirty with broken tiles. In morning, have to shout on hotel staff to get towels? which is most basic service item. Parking is only better thing. An old and ill maintained hotel, a bad choice even for a night.

No Maintenance... dirty damp rooms....dirty stained bedsheets... ac working but noisy...washrooms water problem...never ever go...better sleep in car. Had to stay in emergency CONDITION due to road closure and landslides.

Hotel is old. Not as seen in pictures. Some renovation work was going on. Very dusty and unclean.. furnitures were also very old. Bed, linen were all dusty. The restaurant is also not good. Only satisfactory. Specific items were only good like aloo paratha... The cost is also pretty high. But I guess not many hotels avl in that area.. it's better if we stay at Chandigarh itself and travel to parwanoo. Swimming pool was also not functional... Not at all suitable for family stay.. we some how managed since be were bachelors..
