Hotel Chureshwar Resort

It was 2007 October. we were on our college educational excursion. 50 students with their professors stayed here for a night, it was a long dreamy night here with so many friends. I think that time it was under construction, all its rooms were not ready,,, we were 5 to 6 students in one room, but still we had a great stay here. We arrived here in the early evening and the next day went for the trek. This hotel will always remain in my memories.

Family enjoyed a lot. Must visit... Hotel is located just 2 kms before main Chail market. Rooms are valley view with balcony having a panoramic view of the valley. Staff is always happy to help you. Food is also good. Overall highly recommended to all... The tents... location.. host and staff... food and chai pakora and nature and lot more to add on which has made our experience unforgettable... They provided us free car parking and the Trek which our host too... Exceptional service and priceless location! A must stay recommendation for the ones requiring a quiet stay away from the city with a good trekking trail for the outdoorsy types. Location is at the right distance... Chureshwar Resort is beautiful and worth place to stay! The resort is in Nohradhar village, district Sirmour, from where the Churdhar trek starts. Trek is about 18 km from the resort. The resort is really good in the lap of nature. It serves good food and a worth place to stay. The scenic view is mesmerizing. Never forgotten hospitality and the generous people. There are beautiful nearby surrounding places as well. I would say a "must" visit place. The location is good, too close to where the Churdhar Trek starts. However, the hygiene is bad, as they don't clean the room pillows, bedsheets, and blankets. While the hotel can be good for budget travelers, don't expect much since they don't provide you with a geyser.

I didn't stay in this hotel. In next time I will stay on this hotel due hotel on this trek and awesome view also see in room.

Small cosy rooms, average cleanliness, homely bed, no TV, great host, good service by the little boy, just at the entrance of the chureshwar trek makes this a favorite among all trekkers. Its good for family as well as solo travelers. Proximity to the market and with both hot and cold water facility, this is a value for money hotel in this region.||Rooms- Rs.600/with hot water, Rs.400/- without hot water. They also allow taking bath and leave option (Rs.100/pp with hot water; Rs 50/pp no hot water). Book in advance to get more offers. They have dorms and 4 bedded rooms also.||||Note: They don't have their own restaurant.||They have their own shop (clothes and sweaters).

It is centrally located bang in front of the bus stop of the town. The place has OKish rooms that are available for a variety of sizes and rents. The rooms are good considering the remoteness of the place, standard of folks coming here, and the price charged for the rooms. Single bedded rooms are also available. The trail to Churdhar trek goes directly from behind this place. All facilities like restaurant, provisions store, footwear shop, medical store, barber shop, fruit shop, etc. are are a stone's throw from here. The owner is an amicable fellow a pleasant smile and a helping attitude. He lives in the same building on a different floor. Basic facilities are available but may take some time. Service is slow but such is a the norm in small towns. Life itself is laid back! Some rooms have geyser and some don't. The bathrooms can use some more scrubbing. In winters, while quilts are provided but it is good to carry a sleeping bag/personal blanket. Not sure about heater availability though. The small restaurant across the road delivers packed food in hotel if requested. A small tip goes a long way.

OKish rooms are available at the Nohradhar bus stop. A few dhabas are nearby that offer good food. Rooms have variable sizes, amenities, and rents, so check and negotiate beforehand. Single bedded rooms are also available for solo travelers. The trail to Churdhar starts from behind this hotel so it is good to stay here.||||The owner of the hotel lives in the same building and is available promptly, with a smile. Expect slow service given the remoteness and size of the town -- people live a relaxed life.||||The bathrooms, toilet seats, washbasins, and bucket must be cleaned better. Similarly, the bed and mattress may have issues of cleanliness so do carry your own bed-liner or a sleeping bag, especially in winters.
