NESTLING MEADOWS, NAHAN

Overall it was great experience. We ( three families with kids) visited here on 3rd June. I have already done 3-4 camping in past in various locations (Uttarakhand) but this one was different experience. Though we chose wrong time for visit (June Month - hot Summer) , day time was hot but Property had arranged water coolers in Tents, evening was pleasant, not very cold but comfortable to sit outside without any fans etc. After very long, in late evening , i was sitting in open clear sky with no traffic and noise. light winds were giving great relief. This was ultimate and unforgettable experience. It could have been great, if we visit this place in Spring or winter. We were only 3 families here occupied 3 tents out of 20+ tents. Another great thing was Pool and Rain dance which we enjoyed a lot. This was another great thing here in hot summer. On top of this hospitality and food was ultimate. Though we were only 3 families here but we never felt like not being served and food was very tasty and like home food. Property Owner Mr. Manish was very helpful and Courteous . He ensured that our stay is very comfortable, only advice i gave to Mr. Manish to put some 3-4 lines directions ( after Kala Amb) on his website and other reference sites since GPS caused confusion to us and i can see other also getting confused. This confusion led us to drive approx 15-20 Km extra drive in hill area ( wastage of approx 1 hour)

1. Here we stayed in a fully air cooled TENT (2 person in a tent). This was a different and pleasant experience.||2. The second most attractive thing is swimming pool. As SUN is hot during noon, i feel most comfortable in the pool at that time.||3. The staff is very cooperative and made delicious food during our stay.||4. One of the best weekend destinations if you want to stay in laps of nature.||5. During night just to experience nature black-out was made. We observed sky for 5-10 minutes which is very beautiful experience.

Beautiful Location with good food but poor management and basic amenities. The property has approximately 20 tents with a capacity of total 60 adults and only 4 wash rooms to cater. In total 4 service staff to cater to all the guests. It's a mess when the resort is full both in terms of food and toilets.. They are not prepared for their own capacity. Cleanliness is also a big issue which is obvious due to lack of staff. The google directions to this place have been marked incorrectly and there are no sign boards for reaching the resort. You have to be connected to the owner to reach the place.

It was excellent view from window and environment around was fabulous. Staff was very courteous and left no stone unturned for us. Pool was not clear but it had rain so we can give them discount here. A piece of mind place.

I shall share the Plus and Minus both of this Property:||Plus: ||Location, Food, pet friendly and Owner||||Minus:||1.Basic Amenities Missing - 04 rest rooms and 4 bathrooms for approx. 20 tents with capacity of 3 adults. Meaning 60 persons and 4 rest rooms. BE READY FOR THE QUEUE IN THE MORNING ||2. Hot water for bathing on demand that too heated with a electrical rod in open||3. Tents are dirty and poorly maintained.||4. No Credit card Swipe machines. Thanks the owner came to rescue with PayTM transfer.||||We stayed from 29th sept 2017 to 1 st October. On 29th we were only 4 families. However on 30th the property was full and the management system came crumbling down. There were only 4 people to serve over 20 families. The food, services and cooking all went out of control although the staff was soft spoken and hard working but with a ratio 1 person on 15 guests you can imagine the pathetic scenario. ||||The management started putting restrictions on food. Their staff informed us " your limit of food is over" so we cannot serve you" which was strange. The next day the breakfast was like....NO WORDS we just left the breakfast table coz they just could not cope up with the families waiting for food to come and that was 10:30 AM in the morning.||||Overall a poor scenario. The only face saving was the food and the Owner.

I stayed in Nestling meadows on 30Sept-01 Oct.||Pros-||- Great location||- Good clean tents and surrounding||- Naive working staff (read later)||- The package offerred to us included all 3 meals + snacks and it was good. Kind of satisfied with price ||- Food and snacks were good. I will admit. Even breakfast was fine.||||Cons||- TO start with approachability roads are pathetic. I took the road from Shilnu Kailash (near badolya falls). That 6-7 km road was "just no road". My car almost got stuck twice. We saw 4-5 workers working to repair / make road that would take many months. To add to our apathy Mr Manish was very callous and casual about this complaint , he didnt seem to admit that roads are really that bad. He was not ready to admit the trouble and challenge to drive on that side of road. Even though he was accessible on mobile for directions . ANother car which also was coming from same side had to turn back (somehow they managed on that narrow road) travelled whole 14-16 km and came from Jamta side road. The family seemed shaken and terrified with this whole experience.||- No signboards or even a single board of name on inner roads also. You have to be really connected with Mr Manish to get directions on inner roads. No signboards, no directions not name board of proprty. At one point coming from Renuka ji side road the road just when you reach property road bifurcates, if you will miss right turn (as no sign board) you will go to Jamta road and away from place. really bad for a highly rated property.||- Staff was lost. THough they all were very polite and worked hard but there was missing was smartness, quick response time, following instructions. Tea on arrival took almost 45 minutes, we had to repeat many times about cleaning toilets and arranements||- Toilets need a definite improvements. They are not maintained. THough they are clean but walls of toilets and bathrooms are stained,peeling off cement. bulbs hangin on wall. Western seats are tilted and toilet rolls missing. We had to ask one janitor to keep it clean multiple times.||- ||||Over all it was a mixed reactions. WE reached there with very high hopes but whole experience was okay. Good n some parts and bad in others. ||||If you plan to visit it make sure to find out about roads conditions (the final 2 and 7 Km roads internal)||||The services can definitely improve a lot and this can turn into a great weekend gateway if property owner work on improving above things.||||Thanks||Himanshu

I Drived from Bihar to reach this place. Almost 1500 kms.|This place is more then any one can express... Positive vibes, Activities area , Rain Dance Etc .|You will enjoy every minute you spent here.| |I stayed 5 days here and it was completely different experience . |Staffs are very Polite and Helpful.

Owner of the property is not trust worthy My family suffered a lot in june this year. This was the 2nd time i visited this property. 1st time was quiet good but now property run by other person (same family). I had to bear a huge lost and lots of suffering. Domt recommend that.
